I received my April 2018 lot and utility statement on 03-26-2018. When I looked at my bill I noticed that water and sewage was double the amount it normally is. I have been calling since XX-XX-XX to get he situation resolved. I was told there was a glitch in the system for March but that Sami the manager could give me a report for January and February that shows my hourly usage. When Sami gave me the reports she stated that its the 1st and rent is due. The reports that she handed me were February and March, that supposedly she couldn't give March because of the glitch. And as Sami is handing me the report she tells me that the gateway that read the meters were completely down for the months of January and February and proceeds to tell me that they went in an thru numbers in on peoples bills. I have asked several times what they are going to do to remedy the situation for them going in and illegally charging people and every time I was told nothing and its the 1st of the month rent is due. I paid my rent and trash bill on 04-05-18. On XX-XX-XX my check was returned telling me that cant takes a partial payment. Paid the rent again on XX-XX-XX and rcvd my check back on XX-XX-XX that it wasn't the full payment and that they were charging me a $40 late fee. I each time it was returned I also received a 3-day eviction notice with it. I also called and spoke with the area/community manager who told me there was no report that could be printed, which is a lie because I received one from Sami. I called back and left a voicemail to see what lot Rosie lived in so I could drop my rent off and she wouldn't answer my call. About an hour later I came home and she left me a 3-day eviction notice. Any time you question them and ask for they wont give it to you and threaten people with a 3-day eviction and dont try to resolve the issue.

Desired Outcome

Explanation of Charges I would like the prints of the reports for the months of tenancy dating to when I moved in on January 28, 2017. Iowa code law 562B.14 # 6 states "The landlord or any person authorized into a rental agreement on the landlord's behalf shall provide a written explanation of utility rates, charges and services to the prospective tenant before the rental agreement is signed unless the utility charges paid by the tenant directly to the utility company." late payment fee needs to be waived.
