We owned a Winnebago Tour we wished to sell.We knew we would need to pay the balance on the loan but hoped to get as much as possible for a coach in great conditionRVWhen RV Kountry picked it up (I was surprised owner came and may have been indication of number of employees), we agreed to a price that would mean we would owe $15,for payoffAbout a month later, I was in Fort Myers and a family (Party A) was looking at the coachSubsequently, we were told they wanted to purchase it but there was an issue with the financing and we were asked if we would lower the price by $We agreed to that for this offerIn the meantimeParty B had seen an old ad we had done and contacted usWe told them it was under contract but they could go to RV Kountry to look at it in case Party A couldn't perform In the meantime we were told by RV Kountry they were working on financingI should say many times our calls to them or emails were not answeredFinally we were told the financing had gone throughI asked was it Party A and was told yesTurns out, without our knowledge Party A could not perform and the coach was sold to Party B for the loan balance (cash deal) but RV Kountry paid us the reduced price so their profit went from $to $In addition, they had the coach inspected and we agreed to pay for repairs that they said would amount to a few hundred dollarsIt came to $When I called the repair service, they said RV Kountry had beed provided an estimateThese were not provided to us
In short, I feel these were not illegal but certainly somewhat unethical practices with a significant lack of transparencyParty B should have been a separate transaction and the original price we agreed on with RV Kountry should have applied
The repair shop said RV Kountry was very ethicalI wonder if things have changed
I suggest anyone dealing with them review the contracts very carefullyAs for us, lessons learned
I also expect them to respond with their cut and paste response to previous complaints

I had a very positive experience with Everett and Laura at RV Kountry. They took a lot of time with us, showing all the coaches that we were interested in and did not place any pressure upon us to buy a motorhome. Even though they did not have the coach that we wanted, their professionalism was extremely good. I feel we made a friend and will go back to them when we buy or sell our next coach
