To Whom It May Concern: I would like to add additional information to my complaint.  My problems began on 3/3/2017 when I took my horse trailer in to have LED lights installed and asked them to look at my electrical wiring as my trailer lights would be connected and then...

disconnect for no apparent reason.  I was charged for 3.5 hours of labor, 1.5 for installing my LED lights and 2 hours for repairing a faulty ground, replacing my 7 way plug, and repairing faulty wiring on front axle brake which came to a total of $415.09.  On 6/3/2017 my truck began to give me the same error message "check trailer wiring, trailer disconnected, trailer connected".  I contacted RV Pro on Monday 6/5/2017 when they were open because they had worked on the electrical wiring to supposedly fix the connection issues and was told to bring my trailer in.  I did this and at first the technician couldn't find the error so my husband spent an hour at RV Pro while they tried to figure it out. Then I was told that it could have been caused by my use of the trailer and that I had to split the cost of the labor and was charged for 0.68 ($83.01). I paid and my husband took the trailer home.  My husband later told me the technician he was with told him we shouldn't have been charged at all.  On 6/11/2017 I used my trailer and once again kept getting the same error message.  I called RV Pro on 6/12/2017 who told me they guaranteed their work and to bring in my trailer so they could look at it.  I agreed to because I wanted to support a small local business and give them a change to correctly fix my trailer.  Unfortunately, they once again used this as an opportunity to try to get more money from me.  I didn't sign an authorization and was never given a quote for how much it would cost me to have my trailer fixed.  The owner was able to determine while I was there that the brakes weren't working on the left side of the trailer resulting in the error message.  Rick, the owner, also told me that it was illegal that I didn't have a brakeaway system on my trailer and pressured me to have one installed. I did agree to that (which I was quoted would cost $150) since as I walked out the last thing that was said to me was "We are going to make this right."  Later I received a call that my bearings were bad and needed replacement.  Once again I was repeatedly told how unsafe it was for me to use my trailer unless I agreed to more expensive repairs.  I refused to have additional work done other than fixing the error code and installing the brakeaway kit.  When I was called that my trailer was done I was told that I owed $534.20.  I questioned the charges and the individual in the service department told me I had to speak to the owner.  I never signed authorizing that my bearings be worked on but I was charged 1.5 hours of labor for that.  I was also charged 1.5 hours for the brake wiring work which I was never quoted on or approved since I considered it under the guarantee from the faulty wiring fix they did in March.  The wire on the brakeaway kit is so long that it would drag on the road if I tried to use it.  I am now going to find a reputable trailer repair business to check my wiring, my brake bearings and fix my brakeaway kit.  Rick is blaming the age of my trailer and stating all the wiring should be redone now but this was never mentioned to me when I initially brought my trailer in for repair. I would like all my money back for the last two visits I made to RV Pro.   Sincerely,    [redacted]
