This is matter has been taken care of and this is the email I sent to the client regarding the situation he believed he was in. ***First I want to apologize. When you brought the RV back this should have been handled more professionally from that point looking forward. We
should have responded quicker but the refund could not have come quicker due to there was no one around that could have authorized that amount of refund. I am the only one who could do that and I was gone.I returned the day the other refund was done and cancelled it due to no one having authorization to do it. Then I started to investigate why such a large refund was appropriate on such a short rental. I could not find a good reason. Other than a number of errors that Oleg made during this process.First off the batteries were not bad but dead. The difference is that they needed to be charged directly on the batteryWhich is what we did and they have worked fine every since. This was a not a generator problem but a battery problem in that you used all the power from the batteries with out charging it enough to keep them up.When someone is dry camping this is what can happen if not charged a few times each day. So when Oleg stated that they were bad he was thinking they were dead. Once the tech checked it and found they only needed to charged you should have been called and informed. In a timely manner. He should have also explained that he had to get my approval for such a large refund and that is why he had to delay.Admittedly we are a small business and he wears many hats. This causes him to get caught up in what he is doing and sometimes things fall through the cracks. He should have also explained that he was supposed to write up an estimate for the damage done on the RV from the awning and so forth. This should be taken into account as well.I would expect you understand that. I do realize that you are unhappy and I am sure there is nothing I can do to change that.You will notice that I did refund the money and since it was me it won't be voided this time. It normally takes three to four days for a refund to process even though they take it from us tomorrow. The reason it seemed the other one was so quick is because it happened on the same day. If it happens on the same day then at the end of the day when the credit card batch is processed it is never actually put through and if there is a hold it is released. My guess is there was no hold on it so nothing to released.I have spent a great amount of time in training over the last couple of days with my employees involved regarding how to appropriately handle customer service.I do realize that this is not in your cards but if you want to try us again I will give you one free night towards any rental you take
