First camper, can’t even use!!
Back in the end of may of this year I bought a used 20 foot kodiak hybrid camper from this company. As I know nothing about them I was relying on their knowledge and was totally screwed over by them. I asked if everything worked on it and of course it did they said and that they checked everything on camper!, yea ok. When my friend and I picked it up there was two marker lights that were broken and the license plate bracket was broken. The dealer asked me “ did you
Want us to fix it ?” I said yea so a worker took a metal bracket and just screwed it right into the back, no caulk or nothing!’, I have yet to use it as there has been problem after problem. 1, payed them $150.00 to clean it , it was horribly washed and the inside was full of dead stick bugs. I turned the gas on and smelled gas, both lines were chewed through, yes that’s safe. 2, I hooked up the city water to it and had a flood!, the hot water tank was split!, then the toilet was flooding, had to replace that too. So after all that I tried the built in tank, nope the strainer was cracked, obviously it was never winterized!, and now the front pop out is leaking into the camper , bad bulb seals and canvas pulled out of track!, lastly the awning has pulled away from the roof and now some soft spots on floor. I called them and they used the “ as is “ clause . What a great company to take advantage of people. Since they want to play games with me the next step is to call my attorney and contact the attorney generals office!, please stay far away from these people!

DON’T BUY FROM THEM!!!!! RUN AWAY!
DON’T BUY FROM THEM! RUN AWAY! RV Value Manhiem has the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! They take your money and NEVER handle all of their obligations. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! And they had the NERVE to place a Bible in the unit as if they follow scripture!

I purchased a NEW 2021 Cruiser Hitch 16RD on May 5, 2022. From May 5th through May 7th, I camped at Hershey RV & Camping Resort to try out the unit. During that time, I faced a list of problems that I encountered while camping. A list of people from RV Mart received my list of issues that I scanned and emailed and not one of them solved ANYTHING!

For over a month of communication, I have not received manuals for every appliance, STILL waiting on a spare key, wrong TV remote, and too many other things too post here. Also, they NEVER tested everything because I had a water leak in the bathroom and kitchen plumbing, the heater would not stay on, the toilet leaked, the water pump kept running, and there is a soft spot on the floor.

It was also stated, from the salesperson, that a rep was emailed/contacted with regards to the manuals and other items. I asked for the name of the rep and contact information and was not provided with that information from RV Value Mart.

After two camping trips, I have not fully enjoyed this unit. I am totally and completely disappointed and disgusted at the lack of customer service from Cruiser and RV Value Mart. My first two units were from Jayco and with two different dealers and I never had problems with either. I have had more problems in 30 days which is completely unacceptable.

As a seasoned camper, Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster for almost 10 years and National Honors member, and member of several camping forums, I WILL express my frustration with both RV Value Mart and Cruiser to every associated entity, social media forum, and more.

DON’T BUY FROM THEM! RUN AWAY!

RV MART… YOU HAVE CREATED A SITUATION THAT WILL BE HANDLED!

RV Value is shady! They take no responsibility for their actions. They have bad business practices. They sold me trailer with a decal stating the unit was winterized. The unit was NOT and my hot water Tank Burst. They accepted no fault. They put water in the unit without my knowledge and they didn't disclose to me that they added water or that the unit needed to be re-winterized!

Good Morning,We received your letter in complain #[redacted]It is with deep concern to our company when a customer is not happy that the product that they purchased. We did a review of the customer concerns. While we as a dealership do not manufacturer the products we sell we do service the products we sell and do warranty work for the manufacturers we seli for. We do not put any warranty on any of our products, all products We sell come with the manufacturers warranty. When the customer purchased the trailer they requested that it be in ready camping condition. On their arrival to pick up the trailer the customer was given time as we walked with them to show them the trailer and give them instructions on how to use it. They were very happy with how the trailer presented not saying anything about it being dirty or anything like that. (We have a cleaning team that cleans the trailers prior to being pickup up by the customer.)| imagine what the customer was frustrated with was as on any new trailer (all manufacturers all trailers) there is dust and like Sand dust in the air conditioning vents etc that does come out when you drive for the first little bit. We have to clean that out on every trailer that comes from the manufacturer and it is not all out when it leaves Qur place and customers will notice this for up to the first several times of use. This is standard in all new RVs,As checked the unit to determine what the leaking has come from went over all documents and our check out forms this Unit Water lines were pressurized and any issues were taken Care of. So the customer would have received the trailer in working condition. There are 2 possible reasons that we can think of that could be the problem to their broker water lines.1. There Could have been an manufacturing issue with the unit and while transporting to your home andCampground that the line broke or come apart. While this does not happen much it can happen and this is covered under a manufacturers warranty. The unit must be either brought to our shop or to another authorized dealership for repair.2. It is a possibility that the lines froze and cracked. The unit was sold in ready to go camping condition and that would mean there was water in the lines. I did looked at what the temperature was in there area or April 6 the temperature dropped to 21 degrees and April 10 it dropped to 25 degrees so if the unit was not parked in a garage or the heater left on to keep it from freezing this can happen. Our service tech was in contact with her husband and explained we need the trailer either brought back to us or taken to a local shop for repair, I am under the understanding he gave them several places local

May 19, 2016 at 1:06 PMSubject: Complaint ID: [redacted]To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]>Good afternoon, I received an email asking me to let you know if this complaint had been resolved. And while it has not been, I did feel I should let you know that Jonathan M[redacted] contacted me on May 9th- to finally answer an email I had sent to them prior to filing a complaint with Revdex.com. He stated that the most they could do was get us a reduced rate on a home service call but that we would still be charged more than $200. I replied to him that was unacceptable and asked to be contacted by someone who is actually in charge there in hopes of getting this resolved and to date I have not heard back from anyone at RV Value Mart. However, we have noticed more problems with the trailer since the original complaint. Not the least of which is what should have been a brand new tired filled with nitrogen was apparently a damaged, plugged tire filled with air- which we discovered when it went flat on a camping trip last weekend. [redacted]

Dear Sirs:
[redacted] her husband placed an order for pickup on a 2015 Limited edition [redacted]. They gave a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 for us to put there name on one of these limited edition trailers.
I personally have dealt with...

this customer and there urgency to make sure they get one of these trailers and have spent worked with numerous banks on there behalf and have secured them financing for this limited edition [redacted] that they purchased. The week she had called to cancel her order I was out of the office and I did call her on both phone numbers that I was given and left messages for her.
If she wanted to cancel the week before she could have easily done that by talking to any of the Salesman that answered the phone but when I called her she never answered or returned my call.
As I stated earlier we have a no refund policy for these limited edition travel trailers.
While reading her letter about her sickness my heart does go out to her and have decided to refund her $200.00 of the deposit which I did right now on her credit card. I have included a copy of the refund slip along.
We certainly hope that [redacted] is soon feeling better and if she does decide to buy a travel trailer we will use the other $300 as a credit toward another trailer purchase

Review: I put a deposit on a used RV and made it clear to all parties involved that the final sale was contingent upon a final walk through inspection. I was given a single sheet of paper containing basic information with numbers that included an inspection fee, which I disputed as to why I would have to pay them to inspect their own vehicle before a sale. No contracts were signed, even the single sheet was not signed. Five days later when I walked through the unit I found some more issues that gave me unease and also discovered that the generator did not work (which was not disclosed). Upon asking about the generator the salesperson had to call "Dad" (the owner) and I was told he was waiting on a generator tech to call him and if it was a small part it would be fixed, and if not then it would be "as is". When I then asked about the price being adjusted if the generator wasn't working I was told we'll discuss that. At this point too many red flags had been risen and I informed them that I did not want to take delivery of the unit and I wanted my deposit back. I received a heated speech how they spent time on and had other customers who had wanted it, and I had to call back Monday (it was Saturday at the time)to talk about it. Monday when I called back I was informed that they were keeping the $250 inspection fee that I had originally complained out when putting down the deposit and even though I did not sign any paperwork I had entered into a contract and they were "being generous" to give me back $250. I ended up telling them I would take the 250 and pursue other recourse I felt necessary. Upon looking at other reviews of the establishment I found others with similar problems. I feel that their business practices are questionable.Desired Settlement: I would like the other $250 of my original $500 deposit refunded. I would also like information to be filed with the Revdex.com to warn others as well.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would like to note, however that the refund check was written on 6-19 and received on 6-20 indicating that the refund was only a direct result of this office.

Review: My husband and I had placed an order to purchase a camper. My husband was approved for financing and I gave a $500.00 deposit with my credit card.

We live upstate/central New York and everything has been done either over the phone or through the dealers website.

I have had an unexpected health issue arise that will be costing us thousands of dollars, along with tests that I have not yet gotten results from there is so much uncertainty at this time.

I sent an e mail to the dealer explaining the situation in a bit more detail to let them know that we would have to cancel the order since there would be no way to take on an added financial responsibility at this time. I had also inquired about the possibility of getting some portion of the refund returned since this is a bit more than just a change of heart or buyers remorse. ( I have proof of diagnosis and paperwork to show that this is legitimate)

I have sent e mails and left messages and I am getting absolutely no response. I thought that I was dealing with a sales associate only to come to realize that the person I had been dealing with is actually the owner. When I call to leave messages there is always a hesitation. I specifically ask to speak to someone to make sure that the order was actually cancelled and I feel that they are being extremely unprofessional, insensitive and now it appears that they are being deliberately deceptive. I have no paperwork from the dealer and do not know what their refund policy actually is. All I know is that a charge for $500.00 has been charged to my credit card.

In my e mails I have also made it clear that I am not asking for a full refund.Desired Settlement: A partial refund would be satisfactory and the opportunity to let it be known that their conduct has been extremely questionable.
