#1, the offer is not in the amount that I paid in deposit I paid a deposit of $***, the refund was in the amount of $*** Note that the refund came via a check with the business name "*** *** ***" on it I invite folks to review the comments and complaints associated with that business #2, the business has continued to threaten and intimidate me in order to have me review negative comments posted about my experience with their business, comments that are factual and reflect my experience with the business The owner has reminded me multiple times that he is a lawyer and continues to threaten to sue me if I do not take down my reviews, something I will not do I have attached an email in which the business drops an ultimatum and deadline for me to cancel this complaint and remove negative reviews Note that at no time did I enter into any agreement to do such #3, RVA Crawl Space continues to assert in their public responses to my reviews and in their response to this complaint that I became "threatening both over the phone and via email" something that is unequivocally false At no point did I threaten anyone associated with RVA Crawlspace over the phone or via email In fact, they provided all of our email contact in their response and I invite anyone to find anything that can be considered "threatening." They've continued to paint a picture of me that is not true and I do not appreciate it.#4, their response to this complaint was filled with lies and inaccuracies In addition to what I discussed in #above, I will go through all of the inaccuracies in their response: - RVA Crawl Space continues to assert that I never made it known to them what my expected timetable was for completing the work This is a complete lie as I did this multiple times beginning with my very first call to them I made it very clear to them that I needed the work done prior to a possible home inspection and they asserted that they could meet this requirement I received a contract on my home that night following my initial inquiry and per their directions, called them the next day and left a message stating I had gotten a contract I later called them back after learning the date of my home inspection, communicated that date to them and again, made it very clear that the work needed to be done prior to the home inspection They again stated that they would be able to do the work prior to the inspection and that is when I agreed to sign a contract and submit a deposit You will see in the email they provided in their response dated July 10th, that once they informed me that they could not do the work when I requested, they clearly stated that "if you are dinged on the home inspection for the crawl space mold issues you already have an estimate in hand..." They Knew exactly what my expectation was so for them to assert that I had requested an "Impossible to meet deadline" is a complete lie For them to state that they didn't discover this until Monday is also a complete lie as you can see in the email they attached (I attached a screen shot so you can see the correct date) dated July 7th at 2:PM, I reminded them again that my home inspection was on the following Thursday.- RVA Crawl Space asserts that I sent my deposit in after close of business on Friday July 7th and that there was no one in the office to respond to calls or emails Please note per the attached electronic receipt of my deposit that the deposit was received by them at 3:PM on Friday July 7th, and follow up calls were made within that hour At the time that I was setting up this work with them, their business hours were listed on their website as 8:30AM - 6PM, a detail they've recently removed from their website but forgot to remove from their *** profile So, all of my calls to them and my estimate was received within their advertised business hours- RVA Crawl Space asserts that I filed my complaint with the Revdex.com and left negative feedback about their business after being offered a refund This is absolutely 100% false The Revdex.com complaint and negative reviews were left on July 10th It wasn't until after the Revdex.com sent the complaint do the business that the owner of RVA Crawl Space called to offer a refund and in the very same breath threatened to sue me of I did not cancel this complaint and remove negative comments - Finally I have attached the latest email from RVA Crawl Space which shows them giving me a deadline to remove negative comments which is their way of again, threatening me.I will accept nothing short of a full refund and a complete apology from RVA Crawl Space for the way they have handled this whole situation and the lies they have told about the actual events

I received the complaint letter dated 7/11/2017 regarding Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] contacted our offices by phone on July 5th requesting an appointment for a free estimate for his property's crawlspace. He stated during this request that the home was on the market. We scheduled him for an...

appointment with our inspector for the following week. Mr [redacted] called on July 7th requesting a sight unseen estimate, as there had been a contract placed on the home and he wanted to get the work done as soon as possible. This is outside of our policy to do, however we gathered some basic information from Mr. [redacted] and put together an estimate for him that same day with the notation that the estimate could change if conditions or measurements of the crawlspace were not accurate upon start of work. The estimate was sent to Mr. [redacted] at 1:29 PM on July 7th. Mr. [redacted] replied via email indicating he would like to proceed with the work. We replied that we would get the deposit invoice and contract set up and would confirm our schedule to offer an installation date. Mr. [redacted] expressed he'd prefer to pay via credit card and stated he had an inspection Thursday and wanted "to get things confirmed and moving". The contract and invoice were sent to Mr. [redacted]. Our policy is to not schedule work until a deposit is received and our contract provides a time frame for installation, that though we typically perform installations within 10 days of acceptance, we have up to 90 days to complete the work. Mr. [redacted] sent his deposit in after close of business on Friday July 7th, and sent his contract in on Saturday, July 8th. There was no one in the office at the time to respond to any calls or emails. Upon returning to the office during our regularly scheduled Monday hours on July 10th, it was discovered that Mr. [redacted] had requested an impossible to meet deadline after submitting his deposit and contract. At no point did we confirm any scheduling with Mr. [redacted] prior to his deposit or contract signature and return. We responded to Mr. [redacted] stating that we could not possibly meet his expected installation of Thursday July 13th and at no point prior to had we agreed to do so, that we had other customers who had already returned signed contracts ahead of him and that we'd be happy to work with him in any way possible moving forward and that we would be able to work with whatever the home inspection report relayed. At this point Mr. [redacted] became extremely confrontational and demanding refund despite having already signed a contract. Despite our best efforts to resolve the situation calmly and amicably within the terms of the contract, Mr. [redacted] became threatening both over the phone and via email. Only July 11th, prior to leaving negative feedback at every juncture he could find, despite having already been offered a contract termination and refund, and despite a contract termination and refund being mailed to him on July 11th, Mr [redacted] contacted the Revdex.com. Mr. [redacted] cashed his refund check on July 19th. This was resolved on our part as quickly as humanly possible despite Mr [redacted]'s unreasonable expectations. His reviews online and in this Revdex.com complaint are libelous and we did everything in our power to amicably resolve this situation. Copies of all documentation are attached.
