Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:When your in the business of putting hitches on a car so it can be towed, I would think as the "professional" you would be smart enough to make sure it can be towedI said up front I didn't know what or how these things work as my husband who passed away took care of these thingsYou clearly are in the wrong and took advantage of the situationWorse now you as the "professional" os that your not willing to take responsibilityYou would actually prefer to have a black mark against your record.......nice! I talked to our salesman, he remembers it a little differentlyMr*** asked for an RV in a certain price rangeWhen Mr*** asked about a diesel pusher model we had on our lot, our salesman told him it was not in the price range he asked aboutOur salesman would have rather sold him
the more expensive oneThis RV was sold AS/IS as you can see by the Buyers Guide statement attachedWe did a walk through with Mr*** when he took delivery and everything workedHe has called several times and said he had water leaks or something else was not workingWe have fixed them at no charge and/or showed him that what he was trying to do needed to be done another wayThis is a used RV with no warranty as you can see by the signed Buyers GuideI believe we have gone above and beyond with repairing his RVI have attached several documents to show we have performed several repairs at no charge to himAt this time I feel we have gone above and beyond what was required of us to try to make Mr*** happy. Good Morning this is the first time I have seen this email from Revdex.com.*** *** bought a Jeep from a dealer and told them she was going to use it to tow behind her motor home we assumed the dealer had sold her a jeep that could be towed behind a motor home because that is
what she asked the dealer for we assumed that the dealer new what the were doingShe brought her new jeep in for us to install a tow bar set up on her new jeep which is what we did it was not until we went to hook up her jeep to the motor home that we noticed that the switch that engages the 4Xwhich is the same switch that puts the transfer case into neutral so it can be towed did not have the option to be put into neutral so that the wheels could rotate freelySince the majority of jeeps have the option for the transfer case to be put into neutral and she had told the dealer that she intended to tow the jeep she should go back to the dealer and get the correct jeep for towingI would be happy to take off the tow bar and install it on the correct jeep.She was also asked by Rabbit our service manager if the jeep was tow-able she answered yes She came into the office after that and when asked if she had talked to the dealer about it being tow-able she said she hadThe dealer even took off the tow bar from her trade in but did not install it on her new jeep because they did not have the right brackets so even the dealer thought it was tow-able.Thanks RickRVzz435-627-
