RWM Excavating

Review: The [redacted] Condominium Association entered into a contract with RWM Excavating, LLC in December, 2013 for paving work to be completed at the [redacted] Condominium located on [redacted] in [redacted], CT. As agreed, the [redacted] Condominium Association provided Mr. [redacted] a check in the amount of $3,500 on December 26, 2013, with subsequent payments of $4,000 and $1,500 on April 9, 2014 and April 22, 2014, respectivly. The balance of $4,500 was to be paid in installments.

The paving work was to begin in the Spring, 2014. In the Spring, 2014, Mr. [redacted] requested a delay until Augusst, 2014 due to him needing time to recover from an accident. The [redacted] Condominium honored this request. Since August, 2014, Mr. [redacted] provided a subsequent start date of October, 2014, which he has not honored.

As Mr. [redacted] has failed to honor his commitment to complete this much needed work, the [redacted] Condominium Board has lost all faith in his ability and/or willingness to complete this work and would like the $9,000 deposit paid to Mr. [redacted] returned to the [redacted] Condominium Association immediately such that the Association can secure another vendor to complete this work. It is important to note that the paving work that Mr. [redacted] was contracted to do was required in order for the [redacted] to secure a reduction in its Home Owners Insurance. The failure to complete this work has resulted in the [redacted] incurring a significant increase in its annual insurance premium.Desired Settlement: The [redacted] Condomium would like the $9,000 returned in a certified check or money order and can be delivered to the [redacted] Condominium Association, Property Manager at following address: [redacted] Mr. [redacted]'s failure to comply with this request will leave the [redacted] Condominium Association no option but to seek legal action against Mr. [redacted]
