I contacted MedPartners on XX-X-XX ref # XXXXXX and spoke to *** and explained the above situation...should be reimbursed ***
On 12-6-16,faxed the EOB attn: *** Office Manager on 12-7-@ 3:am - result "OK" = received
On 12-10-16, I went into RX and spoke to *** "The extra is for the Dr.s fee
***The EXACT same scenario for ***'s experience too
I have all the receipts if they are needed
If this is a common practice for RX Optical, in my opinion, this equals fraud and needs to be stopped

MedPartners, does not cover the fitting fee of *** MedParnters only covers *** towards the exam fee and the patient is responsible for the balance *** + *** = *** in her caseWe have tried several times to explain this to the patientOur Retail Director, office opticians, and even the President of Rx Optical have spoken with the patient in hopes of explaining this to herShe and her husband were not overchargedShe even acknowledges in her Revdex.com complaint that MedPartners "stated we should only have paid a total of *** each" She was only charged *** and not *** as stated by her insurance companyI hope this finally clarifies any confusionThank you for allowing us to provide this feedback

Also, in reference to speaking with the President of RX Optical (***) which also included the Vice President (***)This was an unrelated incident which occurred at the Angola RX Optical in Angola with DrHanna in approximately August My experience was less than pleasantThe exam lasted minutes at the most with half the time spent on the doctor searching for saline solution for the removal of my contact lensesHe did not show any signs of concerns for me as a person - absolutely no general conversation which would be expected just meeting for the first timeI felt as if he was rushing for a race and felt as if it was a "drive through" experienceI would NEVER recommend RX Optical to anyone who would expect a thorough examination
