[redacted],
Thank you for contacting me regarding complaint ID #- 10206974. My name is [redacted], part owner of Rx Vapers LLC. My response regarding this complaint is as follows:

On 8/30/14 a customer came in to my [redacted]ocation and...

bought one of my [redacted] electronic cigarette devices. This particular device came in a hard, plastic shell, sealed, with an authenticity code on the package. This allows the consumer to go to the website and verify that the product is authentic. The customer paid for the item and seemed to leave happy.
The next day the same customer returned saying he heard a slight noise when he shook his device. I personally tested the device and it was working fine. I told him there was nothing wrong with the product, however, since he was unhappy, I would swap it out for another device, just this one time. We had other devices the same as the customer wanted, but not the same color. He asked if he could upgrade to a more expensive device and pay the difference since we didn't have the color he preferred. I told him that would be okay. When the customer picked out the new device, it happened to be a [redacted] Box Mod. This particular device comes with a 90-day manufacture warranty. I explained to the customer that if he wanted this device then he needed to open and test the device before he left my store location. I explained that the warranty must be redeemed only by the manufacturer and that I couldn't do anything if he were to have a problem. The customer agreed and I went over all of the warranty paperwork with him. I also had him test the device before leaving. He was completely satisfied.
A few days later the same customer came in again saying the device didn't charge properly. I apologized and kindly reminded him about the warranty and told him there was nothing I could do. He then became irate and started using profanity and making threats in front of other customers in the store. I asked him to please leave. After asking him to leave numerous times, I finally called the police to have him escorted from the premises. The customer then left the location while making threats and saying he was going to cause problems on social media and with the Revdex.com.
At this time, and due to the actions of the customer, we're not able to assist the customer. The customer needs to contact the manufacturer to get this problem resolved. I feel my staff went above and beyond to assist this customer and I feel he was trying to take advantage of the situation. We have no way of knowing what happened to the device once the customer left the store and we have no authorization with the manufacturer to replace the product. Thank you.

                          Best Regards,
           [redacted], Owner-Rx Vapers LLC.
