Just wanted to put his out there to any folks from MD looking to relocate I was hesitant to use any of the big name nationwide movers Seems like in many cases you're dealing with a large corporate office and if there any issues you go through much pain to get things straightened out After some research I decided to go with a family owned company based in MtAiry I wasn't sure when I first called that they would even be able to accommodate our move to TN I called and talked with the owner Tim He said they could do it and was able to meet me at our home in MD Tim was great to work with and the quote provided in less than hours was (in my opinion) very reasonable Scheduling was easy and they do not overbook themselves Seems that reviews of many larger companies involve running late or delays on starting the load up He was onsite again the day of our move and inventoried everything as it was put on the truck All of the folks involved in the move are his employees Including when they deliver They do not hire additional staff at their delivery sites Tim's son Chris was the driver and other person consisted of the team that delivered our items to the new home They were on time and were extremely helpful in moving existing pre-placed items to new locations now that our furniture was arriving I definitely would recommend them to any in MD whether moving locally or to a new state You can tell from just talking with them that they take pride in their work and will do whatever they can to be sure all goes smoothly

C & S Moving, Inc. did an absolutely phenomenal moving job. They are wonderful. There are not enough superlatives to express how terrific this company is. I moved on July 31, 2015. I had not moved since three years ago and assumed that a moving company that I had used previously was still in business. Upon researching, I found that they had closed. So, my search was on. Upon discovering that many moving companies are now using day laborers as moving men, I was really dismayed. I contacted a moving company that I had used years ago, especially since my late brother-in-law worked at that company for years. That company could not accommodate my mandatory moving date, but the owner recommended C & S Moving.

I then contacted them. One of my requirements was that real employees were doing the work. Well, that was the case. C & S is a family-owned business who has uniformed, trained, and clean-cut employees. That fit the bill with me.

C & S arrived promptly at the set time of 9:00 A.M. The three men were all professional, personable, and worked like I have never seen before in my life. In my four decades of moving since I became an adult, C & S is the best moving company that I have ever experienced. They had the contents of my two-bedroom apartment out within one hour and forty minutes. They also got to my new place ahead of me! I want to say, also, that they put things back together better than the condition in which they were in at my former residence. I have an antique buffet that has a top mirrored part that was hanging on with tape. The movers screwed it in as it was supposed to be, but I didn't know about it. So, they actually fixed the piece! The beds are better than they were at my former home. I guess that they did something positive with the bed frames. We are forever grateful. I also want to add that the guys started packing some things that we were behind on in getting into boxes. My daughter and I were not prepared to the degree that we should have been, but those guys did way above and beyond. They are so amazing. We are singing their praises to everybody we know. Needless to say, we are recommending them to anybody out there. Again, they are the best moving company that I have ever experienced in four decades.

I hired C&S Movers to move me out of my townhome and my 2 storage spaces. They scheduled me for two consecutive days which worked perfectly. They were EXCELLENT!!! The whole crew was positive, professional and very careful with my belongings. Their attitude remained great especially on the 2nd day which was moving my very large furniture into my new FOUR STORY home. It was a difficult move and they were stellar!
