Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2015/12/10) */
I have been in contact with this client from the very beginningI have addressed all of his concerns beginning, during, and at the end of the projectThere is no basis for any of these complaints, and is all based on his inexperienced
conjectureIt appears that this client is just doing this in an effort to slander my name and the businessI have made every effort to resolve this issue with the client, it appears that litigation was my only optionIt is my intention to write in detail a full response to these allegations after this matter has been settled in court
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 16, 2015/12/13) */

UnbelievableI truly think Mr *** is not capable of telling the truth, or admitting when he is wrongBlaming this on my "inexperience" is an easy answer to throw out there, however how do you explain the Contractors State Licensing Board investigation stating that it will take an estimated $16,to repair all of the work that was sub par to industry standard and getting the job correctly permittedMaybe their "inexperience conjecture" led them to that conclusionI can't wait to see this detailed response after the judge makes a ruling

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2016/01/27) */
I'm sorry that this customers experience wasn't 100% satisfactory. I do warranty all of my work. When she was experiencing issues a year after the completion of the project I was more than happy to take a look at any concerns. What I observed...

was a small area under her sink, in which the cabinets were damaged by moisture. This type of damage is not covered by warranty, however I repaired the cabinets and was more than happy to accommodate. The only other issues that she had with the finish was due to normal wear of use. To satisfy the customer I even called the sub contractor to refinish a second time. We also used the same finish in multiple areas of the home including the bathroom , wainscoting, custom laundry cabinetry as well was builtin cabinetry in living room, and when I inspected all these areas I found no issues. Had she just contacted me directly, I would have been happy to assess any further issues in person.

Had the work been completed properly the FIRST time I would not of had to had to contact this business again. I had hoped the problem would have been resolved the second time around but was wrong. Unfortunately I did not want to contact this company directly because I do not believe this contractor is capable of solving this problem. I will be utilizing another company to correctly paint my cabinets, doors, and wainscoting and under NO circumstance would recommend this business to anyone.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2016/02/02) */
I am sorry that this customer was unsatisfied with my business. I am glad that she acknowledged that I do honor my warranties. I can only do as much as she allows me to do, but unfortunately she would not give me the opportunity to assess her paint issues. I am very capable of providing a different paint, if she would so desire. This is the first time that these paint issues have ever come up in my business, so naturally I wanted to be as accommodating as possible,as I do with all my clients.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 16, 2016/02/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As I said before, I will not be using the same contractor a third time to attempt to resolve the issue. He has proven to be incompetent I this matter. And I am tired of the excuses. I will be paying another contractor to fix his mistakes .
