I live in Alton and Ryan Construction and Roofing replaced my roof four years ago I was happy with the service, 1-day job and a clean work area when they leftOn my recommendation they were chosen to replace two other roofs on my block and they repaired copper flashing on a slate roof a couple doors down
Best of all, Ryan's bid was lowest of three bids, with one of the bids given sight unseen
Since then I've had Ryan build storage closets and place a floor in our basement
I'm happy to recommend Ryan Roofing and Construction

With in hrs.of call from customer we responded at his home.customer refused to let us on roof with out him on roof also.next day I arranged to meet him on roof.our findings were that the chimny had cracked 3" abouve counter flashing.in good
faith I offered to remove chimny(chimny) and install a new piece b vent system.the customer agreed this would solve any further problems.we plan on removing cracked chimny friday(two days after phone call.note we did seel crack today to prevent any further damage.note wene you add ventalation to these old houses , they dry up in attic(wood) things can move and crack afterwords.we added ridge vent on this home maybe this is why the brick and concreat cracked?

I hired Ryan Construction to put on a new roof in August of My son was going to pay for it and he did make some payments on it but then he fell ill I also paid for some of the roofing after my son fell ill but I am on a fixed income I told the company that my son would pay them when he was better They did finish the roof However, I saw a worker at my place about weeks ago after all the work was done and believe he damaged my roof After he was there, my roof started leaking I think this is because I am unable to pay for the roof at this time
Recently we were hit with a severe hail storm and had a lot of damagePreviously, I had wind damage at our last house and used Ryan construction with great resultsSince I was familiar with their work, they were my first and only callThe quality of work on replacing my siding,roof,gutters,windows,facia and soffit was outstanding! Not only was the work top shelf, but the crew was friendly,professional and respected us as home ownersI would not hesitate to recommend them, actually did with my neighborsWant to thank Ron and his team!

I am responding to this complaint. This is the first I have heard of the leaking from her roof. I have contacted her over a period of several months many times as far as the balance of $owed on the roof work but never received a return call or a response from her. I even sent
a certified letter days prior to placing a lien on her property. My company takes much pride in its work and if there is a leak due to workmanship, we will go out and fix it regardless of any balance owed. After I complete this response, I personally will call her to schedule a time to examine the roof and the leak

I am rejecting this response because:
I received a phone call from the owner yesterday and he stated he sent someone out to my home and it was fixed. I explained to him that it was not fixed. He is asking me for money but he was told from the beginning that my son would be paying half and unfortunately he had surgery. He did not fix the chimney and says he will own do it for an extra $700.00. This has been a nightmare for me and I had to get off the phone because I was so upset and my blood pressure was rising.
