Ryan Nissan Reviews (3)

Monday, December 12th.Revdex.com; In researching we find that *** is correct; she did not pick up her license plates at the Motor Vehicle Department November 22nd . We tried reaching customer *** today. She did return my call a few hours later, and we did talk for a few minutes. I shared with *** that our Ryan Nissan store is under a new management and leadership team. I also extended an offer of sitting down and discussing her issues. I asked her; “what is it that you would like ***”? She is going to discuss with her husband, and call me back if they are interested in sitting down and talking. I was also able to connect with ***’s financial institution today. They confirmed that they did communicate with our Ryan titling employee. The communication began in August, and I was correct that it was numerous times. I was advised by ***’s Loan Officer that she checked the Motor Vehicle Department’s website and it showed that it would another weeks before everything was processed on their end. I just now checked the Motor Vehicle Department’s website, and it shows the title for *** has been processed today. We will be doing follow up to see if the title does get mailed and received this week.Ryan Nissan sincerely hopes that we can sit down with *** and her husband ***, and have the opportunity to move forward together.Thank you-Lisa ***Customer Relations ManagerRyan Family Dealerships

I am rejecting this response because:
The response received by Ryan Nissan not only is full of blatant lies and misconceptions, it shows lazy and shady practices on their part. For starters, they openly claim to have sold a car WITHOUT having a title for said vehicle. They were NOT in contact with the bank as they stated, as a timeline provided to us from the bank states the bank tried making contact with Ryan Nissan on September 16th and did not receive a return call so reached out to Ryan Nissan again on the 3rd of October. Ryan Nissan did NOT make aware that there was an issue with the vehicle title and used the excuse that the DMV takes a long time to process paperwork. Again, untruthful and shady behavior as they knew and stated they in fact had no title and sold the vehicle without one. If all this information was known back in October, why was no documentation submitted at that time and not done until we pressed them on November 22nd? Ryan Nissan's own Costumer Relations Manager Lisa [redacted] blatantly lied by "giving us her word" we would hear back from her by Friday, November 25th at the latest. As of this day, December 8, 2016 we have yet to hear anything back from her. And, no as of this date, 12/8/16 I, [redacted] have still not gotten license plates for the vehicle. There is zero accountability, nothing but lies and excuses from this "dealership." Their self proclaimed "commitment to excellence" is a sham in the highest degree. Make no mistake, we will not back down from this nightmare of a buying experience and will continue to escalate the issue, wherever the next step within the law is. No customer should be treated as poorly as we have in regards to practices and promises that continue to mean nothing. No one else deserves to deal with this and a quick glance of this "dealership's" Google reviews show the place is a disaster and we wish we would have gone elsewhere. We will do all we can to let other costumers know the ongoing nightmare it has been with Ryan Nissan in the hopes no one else has to deal with these crooks.

[redacted] Glenburn, ND 58740 ID:  [redacted]                             December 6th, 2016  ...

Revdex.com:                                         ... Customer, [redacted], came to our Ryan Nissan store to purchase a vehicle she had been searching for.  We worked extremely hard to accommodate both [redacted] and her husband [redacted], with purchasing the vehicle they wished to own. The vehicle they chose had a previous owner; this customer was having issues locating the title to the vehicle he traded in.  Customers do not intentionally lose their titles; for when they do, thankfully there are processes, procedures and laws in place to protect consumers.  Once [redacted] purchased her vehicle, we requested a duplicate title.  Unfortunately, the Motor Vehicle Department mailed the duplicate title to the previous owner.  This caused more frustrating delays. We received the title on October 15th and processed the necessary paperwork; we then sent everything into the Motor Vehicle Department.  Once the Motor Vehicle Department receives all necessary documents, they will be processed and mailed to customers on their schedule. From July to October, our business office worked diligently to recover the duplicate title.  We needed a new Power of Attorney from previous owner, and also waited on reassignment from [redacted].  Our business department was in contact with [redacted]’s Financial Institution, People’s State Bank, at least 4-5 times during this time period.     I also reached out to [redacted]’s bank; People’s State Bank.  I asked if the Bank had put undue pressure or stress on [redacted] in needing the title.   People’s State Bank assured me that they had not done this.  He said they had assured her everything regarding her vehicle loan was in good standing.  He also shared that they too understood the situation, and tried to assure her she was fine.  I want to stress that our dealership was upfront and honest with all communications regarding customer, [redacted].  Dealerships do not strive for situations like this to occur; uncontrollably they do.  They occur for reasons as explained above; they do not occur because we are “dishonest, negligent, or unaccountable”.  Our goal is to always accommodate our customers in a timely manner.  [redacted] picked up her license plates from the Minot Motor Vehicle Department on November 22nd, 2016.  The title is still in Bismarck, and will be mailed directly to People’s State Bank at any time.             Sincerely,                         Lisa [redacted]                         Customer Relations Manager                         Ryan Family Dealerships
