This situation involves a couple of issues
There was a clerical error in the original filling of the return which was corrected and acknowledged by the IRS. There was also misinformation that was provided by the taxpayer...

which was also corrected by the IRS.
The frustration factor was elevated by the time the IRS takes to receive, response and adjust their records, Unfortunately the taxpayer feels that somehow we control the IRS. That, of course is incorrect.
There is a third problem that has arisen that has not yet been identified or resolved. We are currently waiting once again for the IRS to respond. No doubt this will continue to frustrate the taxpayer. Again we have no control over that.
Typical with the IRS is that more than one service center involved and letters and correspondence tend to overlap. In this instance we have been dealing with Fresno (4/13/15), Atlanta (7/24/15) and Andover (8/27/15).

Number one: We have never met Mr. [redacted]. Number two: Craig Saunders was the so call CPA fellow we filed our taxes. Yes, they are a company but why didn't Mr. Saunders handle the response??
No we are not satisfied with this response. Mr. [redacted] created the error on the form by not checking we have medical coverage which we feel it was his mistake not ours.. We also question his statement, "there is a third problem that has arisen that has not yet been identified or resolved, waiting once again for the IRS to respond." When I talked to the IRS (waiting 2 hours) I was told our 2014 tax file was a mess. Yes, it is hard to talk to the IRS but Mr. [redacted] did nothing until I filed with Revdex.com for your help and we appreciate all your help.

*ust wanted you to know talking with Mr. [redacted] yesterday, low and behold he stated he was able to talk to the IRS and we will finally get our refund $204. within 2 weeks. He wouldn't admit it was all their fault. They made an error on our state also when we received a refund of $1. compared to his figures from the beginning of $233. He would not discuss that case. They should not be CPA's after all we went through. Thank you for your help. Season Greetings
