I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and will accept the partial refund they finally offered Ryson chose to communicate through my personal email only after this August 24th communication through Revdex.comNo calls were ever returned while we were in Galveston or after we returned homeEven this Revdex.com communication said that they would call, but they did notTheir Revdex.com email from Ryson says that ants & moldy conditions are common in GalvestonWe have not had issues like this in any of our other visits to GalvestonRyson decided to refund $of our costsIt was received Tuesday, August 30, That is acceptable, but it does not compensate for the time we had to spend trying to get results while we were in GalvestonThe only issue they resolved while we were there was the clogged shower drain, and that required numerous phone calls and a visit to the office, all of which made the enjoyment of the vacation difficultWe will never rent from Ryson againThese were basic but major maintenance issues that should have prevented this house from being rented outThe odor could not be taken care of with a deoderant & airing out, otherwise it would have been bearable at some point in our stayThe ants were horribleWe had to seal toothbrushes & toothpaste in zip bags to keep ants outAnything in the kitchen not completely sealed was ruinedWorst of all was the way we were ignoredChoosing not to communicate with us or deal with problems during the vacation makes it impossible for us to ever recommend this company to friends or family

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to reply to Ms***'s complaint about her stay at one of our vacation rental properties First, please let me say we are very sorry Ms*** and her family did not enjoy their time here in Galveston with Ryson Our goal is for everyone of
our guests to relax and have a great time on the island.On the issues at the house, our owner has now replaced the two AC units We have sprayed again for the ants, which is a continuing issue in all of Galveston and sometimes hard to contain Because of being on the ground floor with the dampness and humidity that Galveston has, a closed in area will smell murky until it is opened and has air circulation We do eliminate this with the different deodorants available. At times we have master issues (AC's out/plumbing/electrical) at different properties that will delay our response time Sometimes overwhelming, but again we did not mean to take Ms***'s concerned lightly. I will be calling Ms*** today to work with her on an agreement with compensation This will be dealt with quickly. Again, we apologize to the *** family for their discomfort during their stay and will be contacting them today
