This is in response to complaint ID [redacted] The customer initially went through a broker to book her moveS and B Moving Service, LLC (hereafter “we”) is a contractor with this broker, and we were assigned to service this customer’s moveWhen we called the customer to inform her of the arrangement, and that we are looking to pick up her goods the next day, she was confused as to why we are calling her, when she booked her moving service with the brokerI explained to her how this works and she was at ease moreWe spent numerous hours, at one point hours, on the phone with this customer, to make her feel comfortableThe damage she speaks of to her pictures, was there when we picked up her goods at the storageAs for us being neglectful with her items, this is a accusationShe mentioned $worth of damage – we did not pack any of the boxes, so therefore we do not know what damage she had in their initially anywayThe customer had a small antique table that is very old and the legs were loose already, so that damage was not caused by usWe have been in business for many years and have never had any complaintsWe value our customers and their belongings, and often times have repeat customersAs far as one guy “sitting” and another one carrying her couch over his back, that is also not trueWe train all of our employees to handle our customers’ belongings with care and how to lift properly to avoid them getting injured and damaging itemsIn order to utilize our time wisely, the movers only carry the heavy items together, that one person cannot transport themselves from the truck to the home.The customer also mentioned that she was asked to pay an additional $or she wouldn’t receive her belongingsFirst and foremost, this demand did not come from S and B Moving ServiceI am not sure of her conversations with the broker, but I assure you, we do not handle business like thisI would like for this customer to please understand the difference between S and B Moving Service, and the brokerWe are separate entities with different company policiesWith that being said, she should differentiate the (false) accusations, and stop giving us a bad name.I apologize that this customer feels she had a bad experience, and we are deeply sorry for the loss of your motherOur intention is always to make a move as easy as possible, which also requires our customer’s cooperation and understanding.Please feel free to contact us with any further questions at ###-###-#### and speak to [redacted] .Thank you, and as always, we appreciate your business

[redacted] I have tried repeatedly to send you the file with all the documents except for the pictures and keep getting a file and directory error. Let me know how you want me to proceed. Everything that they said was completely untrue. The company I was dealing with who gave me less than 24 hr delivery time and threatened to charge me $250 a day for held up delivery was them and their scheduler, not the broker. I would not pay for two storage rooms for one year and then pay to haul all that out from Iowa to Arizona when it was damaged. That does not even make sense. Please let me know how you would like me to proceed.Thank you.
