Hospital is claiming they did not know what kind of surgery I was having therefore gave me a bill for $after BCBS Federal paid them
I had my sacroiliac joint fused on the right side at Huntsville Hospital on May 27th I had a prior authorization letter, insurance ran and then proceeded with surgery after paying my $co-payThe hospital was paid by my insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal) and than accessed me with a $billThe hospital submitted the "screws" for my fusion as a medical supplyI am fully aware that my insurance charges me 30% of medical suppliesThe hospital is claiming I did not know my insurance which could not be further from the truthI know my insurance better than most people know the back of their handI also was told I would have known this charge if I had called prior to surgery and asked the hospital for their "Master Charge sheet." Billing was sent to collections after agreement was reached
I received a "final" bill from Huntsville Hospital without receiving any other billing noticesI inquired into the accountOnce I was given the information, I called to set up a payment agreementThree payments were made $25, $29, and $Yet, the billing was still sent to collectionsThe collections company then sent it to credit reporting servicesAn e-mail was sent Huntsville Hospital via their website on February 19th, 2016, asking them to contact the collection company to settle this and have the collection removedI have not received any response from Huntsville HospitalBill was paid in full with final payment being made on February 11th

Huntsville Hospital refuses to file my insurance claim or provide me with an itemized bill so that I may file the insurance claim
I have provided Huntsville Hospital with multiple copies of my insurance information for a claim to be filed They refuse to do so, stating that my insurance was terminated in (even though it didn't become effective until 2017)I have provided Huntsville Hospital evidence of the insurance not being terminated I have also requested an itemized bill so that I may file the insurance claim on my own Huntsville Hospital also refuses to do this I have attachments that support all of what is stated above

The wait time and response of the staff at the Emergency Room at Huntsville Hospital is unacceptable My Mom waited over hours in a wheelchair with chest pains from a fall The explanation was they had no beds, her results were back but they had no bed to take her She asked for some water, was ignored She received nothing for pain even though sitting in a wheelchair for over hours sobbing in pain When I called to complain, I was told that most wait times are 10-hours There is no reason that is an acceptable level of wait time Something should be reviewed at how things are operating in the ER department, has to be a better plan I hope we don't have some major emergency in the city of Huntsville, the staff and operation of HH ER would not be able to care for those in need

Never recieved a bill but was sent to collections
Never received a bill of call from HH indicating I owed them anything! After two years a collection notice is on my credit reportWhen calling the billing office the lady didn't even ask for my information but immediately referred me to the collections agencyWouldn't even verify is I indeed owed them moneyI'm unsure how someone can be sent to collections over a $bill they were NEVER notified aboutThe billing office is rude and disorganized

I took my daughter to the Huntsville ER back in October of She has insurances She is We waited for several hours to be seen that night and only saw the dr for just a few minutes as he said if we thought it was a gall bladder problem he could not help with that and would need an appointment with her dr Normally with her insurances, we do not pay anything or very little She received a bill for $441, then soon after a letter from a collection agency I called the physicians group and was told that they never filed on either insurance and would take care of it and would also tell the collection agency to hold off This week my daughter received another letter from the collection agency saying that they were filing a civil lawsuit and garnishing her wages at 27% plus court cost which would result in about $1, I called the physicians group back and was sent to a 1-# which they said that again, nothing had been filed on her insurance They even had the note wh

I feel it is necessary to file a complaint with the Revdex.com due to a misunderstanding regarding a stress test at the heart centerIn a recent phone conversation to a collection person at the hospital seemed to fall on deaf earsThey didn't listen to what I was saying only wanted to know how much I was going to pay at this timeI will explain more details, the reason I asked for a stress test was due to some mild discomfort in my left shoulder areaI made an appointment with the heart center "my regular doctor on vacation" and was seen by nurse practitioner ***He performed a EKG (turned out fine)I was scheduled for a stress test but had to wait until my insurance would approve of such testI asked the heart center representative on two separate occasions the amount of my obligationIt was determined by one of their representatives that my out of pocket obligation would be $I've been agreed to have the test doneThere was never any mention of any additional cost to me person

I am a disabled Vietnam Vet I live on a fixed income I had no other choice but to go to the Huntsville Hospital Pain Clinic to support my pain pump This requires a $co-pay to go the clinic After going to the clinic for a month I start getting a bill for $for each visit These visits are a office visit It turns out this is an additional co-pay Never was it asked for up front I have had this pump for over years and never seen such a co-pay The clinic says this is a co-payIt is not The never itemize what the $is for with there billsThe $is at the end of the statement with no explanation They have told me over and over they would itemize this $but never have I had to quit going to this clinic because I cannot afford the $total bill They say the extra is due to the idea the Huntsville Hospital is a "surgical facility" It does not matter surgery is never done You have to pay it no matter what Even for a office visit My pain was never managed here because I cannot afford to go here I would like to be paid back all of these $co-pays but do not believe that it will ever happen This clinic is has not ethics The bill is nothing but extortion Pay or loose your credit score I write this in hope that I can stop or at least warn future customers to this extortion

Account Balance Is Incorrect
June 2017, I received a statement from Huntsville Hospital that offered a "Prompt Pay Discount" of $if I paid $by July 21stI did pay the $by July 21st but continued to receive a monthly statement for $I wrote the Huntsville Hospital billing department at the end of August requesting the balance of $be clearedNow I have received a "precollection notice" if the $is not paid
I emailed my August correspondence to the Huntsville Hospital billing officeI do not have confidence that they will clear up this matter on their own and would like to have this resolved before Huntsville Hospital again ignores my correspondence again

Visited emergency room back in early June Gave all my info Received high bills and found out not debt to insurance BCBS finally got claim for hospital bill months later Now I am in collections for the DR bill they will not submit to BCBS Calling Eternal hold Email Request on web site No reply

the complaint is about epidural injection on lower back on 7-27-
we called to ask how much the injection was going to be, we told them upfront that this would not be on
medicare or the other insurance it would be on set aside that she has on her lower back because medicare will not cover that, they finally got back with us on a appointment time and told us that the cost would be $when she checked in that morning that was paid then they said the doctor that does the injection will bill you later and he did that was $1,that was paid, then to weeks later we got a bill from Huntsville Hospital for $4,this is not what we was told when we asked up front how much the would cost if these people don't know when they are ask a question why did they not say I don't know instead of lying about it, the reason that we called to start with is because a doctor that was in Birmingham that she used moved to Huntsville in January of
