In March of this year I had an Ipad repaired. My warranty coverage was through Target. However, repairs are subcontracted out to this company for my area. When they repaired the back cover the original was not sent back with the repaired unit. In June of this year I contacted Target about a problem I was having with my Ipad. Target stated that the problem was covered under Apple's warranty. I waited several hours at the Apple store only to find out that yes it was covered under the manufacture's warranty. Apple was ready to replaced my Ipad on the spot. Since I didn't have the original back of the Ipad the warranty was void. The back of portion of the Ipad contains critical information and without the cover my Apple warranty was voided. Only after making several calls did the warranty company cover the repair. If they can't fix my Ipad this time. They will offer me a gift card and my Target warranty will be void. I would not be in this situation if my original back cover was sent back with my Ipad.
