I am retired and have been downsizing my living quarters and started taking some of my extra possessions to consignment stores. Last September I chose Annies Attic, [redacted] to consign some of my bedding with. Listed below are the items I left with Annies Attic on September 13, 2013: 3 Queen bed sets. One of these sets included two (2) quilts 1 Lined Queen bedspread I have collected for the 3 queen bed sets, but not the Lined Queen bedspread. I have an itemized receipt that Annies Attic gave me when I delivered the items listed above. When I inquired about the Lined Queen bedspread, [redacted] said it was one of the 2 quilts included in one of the Queen bed sets. I told her it was not one of the 2 quilts, but that it was a separate custom made Lined Queen bedspread. When I mentioned that maybe someone made a mistake, she argued with me and asked me to leave the store. I did not think I deserved to be treated so rudely. Then she informed me that she was the owner and was tired of messing with the whole thing, and that maybe consigning wasn't for me. I have done business with several consignment stores and have never had any trouble with any of them. This is not about the money as much as treating customers with respect.
