Ms [redacted] states the “insurance claims agent showed me where there were areas in the corners, and along the front where the grout was missing or gaps in the tiles” from installation.She was advised of the one-yrwarranty prior to closing and had the chance to have the home inspected prior to closing by an inspector as suggested by her realtorShe declined with signature.Dec14th, we both signed a one-year warranty at closing, a standard form with the Oklahoma Home Builders Assoc We have worked with Ms [redacted] in the past to resolve issuesWe worked to resolve a county tax error caused by the title compWe contacted the compand county to have the issue resolved in 12/We also repaired some wood facing near her side garage door in 4/2015.The warranty requires notification within days after the warranty expiresIf the problem was installation error, the problem should have been evident from purchase or within the first year during cleaning or showeringShe should have notified us to determine the cause and, if installation error we rectify the problem to stop further damage.? Many things can affect the grout during a ½ -year spanWe’ve had earthquakes, the home may settle, and some cleaning products and techniques are a fewWe had one person in a home that lifted weights in the shower and dropped them breaking the tile and groutWithout timely notification it is hard to place the blame on the installer.We received a phmessage on 5/8/18, and a 2nd on 5/14/with an emailWe did respond by email on 05/14/to determine the complaint.? I was out of town the previous week and had a guest in our home through May 19th causing delaysSince we only keep current files in our office, we had to pull Ms [redacted] file from storage.We are sorry we are not able to accommodate Ms [redacted] requestIf we had been notified within the first year, we would have worked with her to determine cause
