Review: [redacted] was hired as a contractor by a local company to reface our kitchen cabinets. He completed the work that was contracted by the local company (note: the company had to later come back and fix some of the mistakes made by him). Before he left, he talked us into installing 4 drawers in 2 lower cabinets for $140, which we paid him for. He returned and installed 2 of the drawers, but couldn't install the remaining 2 due to the incorrect size of the drawers. He said he would be back with the correct size drawers. After many phone calls over many months to him (which he usually did not return our calls), he set up a date to finish the project, but never showed up to finish the work, and did not call to let us know he would not be there, so I wasted an entire day waiting for him at home. Later he told my husband he would no longer have time to finish our project and would mail us $70 since he did half of the work (which we later had to remove part of what he installed because it would not work for us because it was only half installed). After many more months of unreturned phone calls, he has not sent us the money owed to us. Also, the dated I have entered as "complaint" and "problem" dates are approximate as there were so many phone calls over many months, I do not have exact dates.Desired Settlement: We desire a refund since the work was not completed, plus we incurred costs for us to complete the project he started.
