S H Designs, LLC built a deck in my backyard. Without consulting with me, they built the deck *arounda 120-gallon propane tank, which is not compliant with local codes, and is a safety hazard. They are now refusing to correct the problem.

SH Designs LLC strives to be the utmost professional providing building services. The company reviews are a testimony to the level of quality that we provide. The deck mentioned that was built was fully consulted with the client prior to the start of the project. A blueprint drawing was provided to the client prior to confirm the details of the deck and approved by the client. The client also approved of the deck being built around the propane tank and did not mention any issues or concerns while the deck was in construction. The client was there several days as the deck was being constructed and failed to mention any disagreement or issues during that time as well. The client also left a negative review on 1/30/2020 regarding the steps and mentioned nothing about ramps instead of steps. The steps were one of the last parts of the deck to be constructed and gave the client ample time to inform S H Designs LLC of an issue or concern. The deck was constructed more than 6 months ago and paid for upon completion and the client is just now bringing this to attention. The deck was used all summer with no complaints or contact. While SH Designs LLC is always willing to work to resolve issues with our clients this issue is not a matter of neglect on SH Designs LLC. The issue is a matter of neglect on the client with failing to receive proper permits to notify S H Designs LLC of an issue up front or during the construction.

I am rejecting this response because:
Nothing in their response changes the fact that they built the deck in violation of code and refuse to correct the problem. My negative review was factual and irrelevant here. That I used the deck for a season before being made aware of the issue is irrelevant.
