Review: got a [redacted] watch fixed on the fourth of February at sj paul repair at [redacted] mall in the basement said movement needed to be fixed was water logged, its all swiss made with a signature crystal sapphire dot on the 12 o clock. its a old watch from the 90 s he said he could fix it take two weeks . cost about 130 to 150 to repair. needed to get parts.and will be ready, I came back on the 17 th of February and watch was all out of place on the right clocks time sets it was moving clickin and the movement was out but noticed the diamond crystal sapphire piece missing and the parts looke like cheap Korean or Chinese not the original parts. asked him were the crystal diamond was and said he had no idea what I was talking about tow things happened he either did not know what he was doing or he stole the piece and told me it would cost know 175 to get more parts then be fixed. I was upset with his mannerism and said he stole the signature dot [redacted] have or he did not know what he was doing and the hands looked different too he was not going to clean the watch at first know when I saw it it was cleaned. he called cops on me and I explained it to them. and officer [redacted] of [redacted] city police don't handle this. I paid one fifty seven and watch wasn't fixed. called [redacted] outlet up in outlets and said repair men do steal movements and hands and replace them with Chinese or Korean hong kong parts and no repair man is [redacted] certified from them so he got parts from other suppliers. I checked him out afterward and has got tons of bad reviews from [redacted] and [redacted] and is arrogant. ive gotten my chain fixed there real simple and that was fixed but when it came to a more intricate fairly pricely item he charges high and does not know what hes doing and changes parts which is very hard to see in less your a watch advocate expert or some basic knowledge of the craftsmanship of swiss [redacted] watches hes a flim flame** a con artistDesired Settlement: 157 for repair plus the small crystal which wasn't worth much the [redacted] sales person said but a internal part of the watch plus the movement and hands need a expert to look into this matter other consumers have complained about this guy seems real shady like a fence and replaces parts of nice watches with cheap parts

[redacted] came to my store on the 4th of February and asked me to repair his [redacted] watch that his father had recently given him. I told him that it would cost approximately $150 to $175 and take about 2-3 weeks for the repair. He said okay and agreed to pay the amount after the repair. **. [redacted] then came to my store again on the 17th of February and asked me how the repair was going. I replied that it was almost complete but I was currently waiting for the crown part to arrive and that it would take about another week to come in. He then asked if he could see his watch, so I showed it to him. Suddenly, he asked me where his diamond from the face of the watch was. I explained to him that the [redacted] watch did not have a diamond on it to begin with and this particular model does not have a diamond. Then he began to yell and curse at me, calling me a [redacted], scam, con artist, and continuously accusing me of stealing his diamond. I tried to explain to him again but he refused to listen to me for even ten seconds. He continued to cause a ruckus in my shop for more than 20 minutes. So I called the police. Fifteen minutes later, Officer [redacted] showed up and tried to resolve the problem. However, he was unable to. [redacted] then changed his story saying he owned the watch for twenty-some years and knew his watch had a diamond. I told Officer [redacted] that **. [redacted] said the watch was recently passed down to him from his father, then showed Officer [redacted] the watch and asked him if there was any spot on the face to even place a diamond. Officer [redacted] asked **. [redacted] where this diamond of his belonged on the watch. **. [redacted] could not respond or indicate the spot or mark where a diamond could even go. So he began to yell again, saying that I stole his diamond. Officer [redacted] could not entirely control the situation so he asked **. [redacted] what he wanted to do. **. [redacted] responded that he was going to take his watch back without paying then would sue me. I said to Officer [redacted] that **. [redacted] could sue me if he wanted but he was required to pay for the watch. The final cost was $157, which he eventually payed.
