Review: I purchased a BMW X5 from this dealership and I am so very sorry I did. The vehicle is a big piece of crap and they just wash their hands of any and all responsibility. We were told that our BMW X5 received a 24 point inspection. Within a week we noticed problems and the dealership wanted us to pay $70 to have it towed back to them since we were unable to drive it. Instead of paying out the money to tow it we decided to take it to a local mechanic and in our horror found out the plastic cover that goes over the radiator and the fan, of the engine, was missing two plugs that secure it. Underneath that compartment, once we removed it, there was a punch that looked like an ice pick. It was sitting right above the fan and radiator. If we would've hit a bump, it would've come out and destroyed our fan and radiator. This could have injured or killed my family. There are bolts missing from the grill on the bumper and the covers on the bumper are also missing. S Motors still claimed that this vehicle was inspected (24 point inspection) and everything checked out the way it was suppose to. Also, we had a 50/50 warranty that should have been a red flag already. It makes me wonder if whoever inspected the vehicle left tools under the hood to purposely set it up to cause damage to this vehicle. Beware, and I strongly suggest you do not trust S Motors.Desired Settlement: I want them to do the right thing and fix this lemon of a vehicle, at no cost to us, or take it back. It is useless and they should be ashamed of themselves for scamming people.

This letter is in response to your letter dating June 6 2014 regarding [redacted].

This costumer called us and we offered them to bring the car to us and we will make it right. No show

for a week. Then we get a phone call from the husband using bunch of profanities. Even thou our

representative was very professional over the phone and ask him to stop using fault language. He was

keep using the F word all the time. I was there and listen to the conversation. Our associate had to even

hang-up the phone few times after asking the husband to stay polite and courteous.

Buying a car does not give right to anyone to insult the seller. As I am sure you can see in your records S

Motors has a clean record. Integrity and righteousness are very important to us.

Some of the comments this costumer made in the letter that you send are ludicrous. Why in the world

anyone leave anything in purpose in the engine compartment?

Again we would have made the correction to make them happy even thou our warranty specifically

state that it is only on engine and transmission. They choose to disrespect us.

At this point after the customer refusal of cooperation and the horrible review that is of Corse one sided

that they put on Yelp and the lack of trust and communication from them; we do not want to have any

further contact with this costumer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

First off, I have never spoken to [redacted] only [redacted]. It is a shame when a business lies like this and uses improper grammar to respond to a customer. If you search Yelp you will see other complaints made by other unsatisfied customers: [redacted] If you look at the bottom there are even 21 more reviews that have not been posted. As you can see from Rusty's review that he also received the same attitude and rudeness. Customers have to go online to seek resolution because of how unprofessional this company is. I have pictures, and a witness, as proof that they did indeed do these things to this vehicle, and no they did not offer me to bring the vehicle back. The vehicle would not drive to the location it needed to be towed and this unprofessional company basically offered no assistance at all. The representative [redacted] was NOT professional. I called him and all I got was what do you want me to do. Yes, he was nice when he sold me this junky car, but as soon as the sale was made that was it. S motors does not have integrity, professionalism, or a clean record. Search online and you will see what I mean. They use intimidation and threats after you buy a car, but while you are there shopping they use tactics like 21 point inspection and it has a Car Fax report. Let me tell you, on top of my initial complaint this vehicle also had an air leak, oil leak, as well as other serious issues that if it was inspected per [redacted], there was no way it would have passed. They had no business selling a vehicle like this and their response to me was it is up to the customer to have it checked out. Now, unless I'm a mechanic, or I have one with me, how in the world would I be able to know this car had all of these issues? They promised me that it was thoroughly checked out by a mechanic and it was fully inspected. Now, if this were the case then they would have known all of the issues with this car. Of course they would not want any further contact with me as these crooks have already sold me a useless car and made their money from it. [redacted] asked why would anyone leave anything on purpose in the engine compartment. We are wondering the same thing, why would they do this? Our certified mechanic who found it was also wondering the same thing and is our witness since he is the one who found it. Since they refuse to make this situation right I would highly suggest you warn others about this company before they too fall victim to them.
