SOD builders recently completed the renovation of our bathrooms in our homeWe spoke and met with several construction companies before we hired SOD buildersWe found out that most of them were a one man show companies and each of the work that they do, is being done by mainly subcontractors and not by in house peopleOur second meeting was very productive and during that meeting, they showed us examples of their past projects and they were able to provide a solid quote that included all the features that we wanted to haveBased on my past experience with construction when we remodeled our kitchen in 2011, we realize that pictures don't say nothing at all and the cheapest is never the bestWe knew that all we want is quality and functionality as we had insisted on it in our kitchenWhen we visited the showroom in the valley, we met with Oren and we shared with him what we were looking forOren took the time to walk us through the process, completing a design, helped us select all the fixtures, styles, stone and colorsAfter we had the design and we knew exactly how it will look like and what will it include, Oren turned the project over to Jose, the project managerJose was the most professional project manager we have ever worked withHe knew exactly what needed to be done and how to divide the stages of the work and he made sure that the team will keep the house as clean as possible at the end of each day and he consulted with us every step of the way when there were minor decisions to be made, and he scheduled things in a way that everything will move smoothly through the processJose showed up on a daily basis to check the previous day progress and he made sure that the team knew what needed to be done that dayWe all hear and read so many bad stories and cases about construction projects and mainly contractors that go badly that they end up in lawsuits, bitter feelings and unfinished projectsI think the proof in the pudding here is that Jose, Oren and the rest of the people there, did an awesome work and my house is the prof of that

Though Oren was referred to me, I still did my homework, getting more bidsI had given my specifications to each of them so that they would all have the same information in order to give the same exact bid I checked out all of the contractors on the Contractors State License website and, I called and spoke some of the prior clients for each of the contractors I compared all of the bids and found them all to be in line with the scope of work to be donePricing was also a factor, I wanted to stay within my budgetOf all the bids I got, Oren's was the most inclusive and detailed of the work to be performed, giving me the right confidence that he was fully involved and hands on in the entire construction processI remodeled bathrooms, bedrooms and one dressing roomOren was always available to me and when it was necessary, he would come over at a short noticeOren's team of workers were unbelievably great guys! They are detailed, neat and cleaned the areas each day before leaving and never left the trash around They arrived to the house each day in the morning with smiles on their facesIt seems that they enjoy their work***, the tile artisan, IS FABULOUS! For the shower floor, they cut close to - 3.5"x3.5" tiles from x inch porcelain tilesof the bathroom walls were done by x 35inch porcelain tile laid stacked horizontallyFor the inside and edges around the bathroom window, which were finished in tile, I did not want the usual tile nor the metal edge stripsI wanted the tile to be mitered*** didn't blink an eye at my request The shower have a column that holding the shower fixtures that is made of glassOne each side of the column are 1/inch tempered glass walls ***'s work is the most beautiful work I have seen in a very long timeThere was very little waste of my very expensive tile and no waste of my glass material
J*** (Painter & Drywall and a multitude of other items), is also an artistBesides all of his drywall work, he also removed the acoustical ceiling in my dressing roomAvi (Electrician) followed my specifications perfectly putting everything in conduit as was my preference*** (Plumber) also followed my specifications perfectly putting everything copper to copper, no plastic, hooking up the rather complicated rain head, proportioning valve, and hand shower
My home was built in the early 80's and was never remodeledI was worried what would be found behind the walls but thank god, there were no problems
Because I am so detailed, and knew exactly what I wanted - having my fixtures and tile on hand prior to the start of the job, along with the detailed specifications and drawings, there were no add-on's The remodel went smoothly and stayed on budgetOren is a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with him againThank you Oren, and your entire crew for a beautiful job

We hired SOD builders to do a remodel our kitchenOren was the main contact and he was excellent in responding to any of our phone calls and textsHe provided us with an estimate that was comparable to rest of the additional estimates that we got as wellOren includes his supervisors arrived to the house and provided us with so many ideas for a better layout, which included moving one window to a central location in the wallThe following day we noticed that there was a problem with that same window that required us to either leave the window, or to move the electrical panel and at the same time, to increase the total wattsOren recommended us to increase the watts of the panel so it will help us in the future so we did took his advice and replaced itThere were few additional issues that also came up during the remodeling and Oren address them to us quicklyOne of them was the uneven paint and a water leak from the kitchen faucetClose to the end of the kitchen remodeling, we had a problem with the grout that start to come off and we informed Oren about it and we asked him to fix itOren did send someone over within a few days to regroup the areaAfter that issue that Oren made sure to fix immediately, we were able to use the kitchen and to enjoy the great design and implementation of the new kitchenThe workers did a great job and they worked pretty fast so it will be completed according to the original plan

SOD builders remodeling completed the whole kitchen remodeling for usThe remodeling included the custom cabinets, travertine floors, marble countertops, all the electrical wiring, recessed lighting, and cupper plumbing and new appliancesThe total price included all the materials and labor but not the appliancesWe are happy with how new kitchen came outOren and the actual people that worked at the house did an excellent job, and the new kitchen was completed in less than a monthThey worked on a daily basis in order to get it complete in the time frame they promised usBen was quick to respond and useful each time we had questions or concernsThe price for the remodeling was a little more than our budget but SOD builders remodeling did a job that justify that price and we have no complains about it what's or everOverall, we would give SOD builders remodeling a robust reference and good words about the work they did at my house!

I contacted Luxcess Home by SOD builders for a master bathroom renovation with a tight budgetStarting at the day when I called them, I told them what I wanted to do and if they can come over to check the bathroom and to give me an estimateOren was the person that came over to my house and he checked and asked me some questions in which showed me how skilled he is and when he presented me the quoteI was surprised that it fit by budget without even asking for discountsOren was very understanding and he was able to send his crew to start working days after due to the fact that they had another job completed just few blocks away from my house! SOD builders has remodeled our kitchen at our houseWe chose SOD because they are a "one stop shop"They handled the design (Michelle is a great designer), project management (that was handled by Avi), inspections, and all the labor for all the projectsThe design of the kitchen speak for itselfMichelle was able to design the kitchen in a way that it made our living space much more usable than it ever was before
We ran into some issues that we did not anticipate, but we were not surprised since the house had those issues due to previous remodels that did not done to codeAll changes (electrical, plumbing, architectural, etc.) are now to code One issue encountered was upgrading the electrical to the island in our kitchenBecause the original electrical pipe was not thick enough to pull old and new wires through, a new pipe had to be installed to get electrical to the islandThere was also an issue after the project was done where the fan/vent installed had a small leak...which was only discovered after heavy rainsSOD fixed this issue promptlyMichelle's design gave us a great-looking kitchen, more storage, and more natural lightWe did use a temporary storage area for our kitchen furniture, but SOD did build a small covered area within the kitchen/dining area for temporary use (i.emicrowave, refrigerator)Avi from SOD was the main person that handled this remodeling and we worked hand by hand with himAvi was very communicator person and he made sure to inform us about everything that involved with this remodelingHis communication skills made our life easier and comfortableDuring the remodeling, we had several teams of people that worked each dayThe workers were nice and polite as well and they did a perfect work
