I called to make a payment. They overcharged on the acct. Then charged correct pmt on top of that and left me hanging.
I called to make a pmt on my acct. Person accidentally charged the wrong amt on my card (122.00). She stated that she would reverse it and charge the correct amt. (50.00) which would have been fine except that I told her that I would go negative in my acct if the 122 was there. No Problem, was what I heard. Ok fine. Then I looked at my acct, both charges were there. The bank stated that it could take 3 days for them to get the refund and that I should call SRC back because the problem was on their end, and that maybe, because they screwed up they would do some sort of a customer service and maybe help me with a discount on my bill or some sort of customer service so that I could still go grocery shopping. I called SRC back and they stated that that idea was proposterous and there is nothing that they were willing to do, and that it was my problem. I needed to figure it out. I understand that it is not their problem that my family doesn't have a lot of money. But when you go ahead and take the last bit that we do have and leave my family with out diapers and food, when I was trying to pay the bill, with no remorse or compensation. That is really hurtful and truely bad customer service. I told her I didn't have that much money. She took the second payment anyway. When I asked when the 122.00 would be put back in my acct, her answer was I don't know, and as far as crediting your acct. We will NOT pay your bill. I didn't ask for them to PAY my bill. Just to compensate for some of the troubles. It is disappointing to know that especially around Christmas time, there is just terrible practices happening in our local businesses.
