I received on [redacted] a letter from Revdex.com in re: client's complaint. I did receive an email from the client [redacted] and since the client could not provide verification of the service address; I submitted a [redacted] on her behalf to the [redacted]. The [redacted] has...
yet to respond to me but we had ample time to serve the Plaintiff's Claim for the client since the court hearing is [redacted]. Service of Process is not an exact science. The person who answered the door when our process server attempted lied to us stating she did not know the defendant/subject. The client stated that she and a friend sat outside the defendant's address to serve the legal documents for 30 minutes. Our process server will wait up to 15 minutes and no more. To sit and wait for a defendant/subject is considered a stake out and constitutes a different level of service for which we do charge.
On our website it clearly explains what to expect for service of process. It states that once we attempt service, the client is not entitled to a refund. In the spirit of customer service I will consider refunding 1/2 of our fee for service.
