As the customer states, we've spoken with them several times in attempts to resolve this situationCustomer is unreasonable in their expectation of a refund and there's nothing else we can do

I called and spoke with *** and she told me again what happenedAfter checking, she purchased a Base Powertrain Warranty but was led to believe that it covered more than the powertrainI offered to cancel that warranty for her if she'd like and she's going to consult with her Uncle first and let
me knowI explained that since the vehicle is financed the warranty refund will go to *** *** toward the principal of the loan.I also offered to do the repair and waive all labor costsThis would result in a $discount leaving her to pay for the $in partsShe said that since she submitted the complain, the decided to order a part online and do the repair themselves.Our next step is to cancel her warranty if she wishesWe're waiting for her to let us know

“This contractor has
shown unethical behavior in not paying to subs and taking money from me
for
construction. Left portion of work
unfinished. All subs have put a lien on
my property, in spite of me paying him the sum.”
Response to customer’s
statement:
Customer’s statement is inaccurate. Dr*** did make progressive payments,
however he did not pay the request dated 11-20-or any further payments of
any kind until he was suedAnd then only paid the ones that sued him
Desired Outcome:
I would like Dr *** to pay me the balance of the contract
plus changes that have been made to the original contract by inspection,
contracting, and/or by the good doctor himself

We've reviewed this deal and the vehicle was financed with [redacted]. In the event of any warranty cancellation, the warranty company sends the refund directly to the lienholder if the vehicle still has a lien on it. In this case, any refund would've been sent directly to [redacted] to satisfy the...

lien. If the customer's insurance paid off the vehicle in full, then [redacted] will send any overage to the customer. I'm sorry I can't help more but we are not involved in the customer's personal relationship with their bank after financing is arranged. If Mr. [redacted] feels he is due a refund then he'll need to contact [redacted] directly. Their phone number is [redacted].

 He keeps repeating the same. I have stopped paying him-- when he will not give monies to subs but keep for himself. He delayed the project for almost 1 YEAR. He was asking for more money -for work never performed. Ultimately subcontractors took the recourse of court actions against him along with me  rightfully, as  they deserved their money.  He knew that I will have to pay subs because I have taken a massive amount of mortgage loan for construction from bank. He knew that loan/ mortgage will not be renewed until I get the lien revoked. He took optimal advantage of my vulnerabilities. I have almost paid $100,000 or more to others than our  contract was signed for, by paying subcontractors. Those monies he has siphoned off in his pocket by not paying themHe also has not finished the task of room --for which he took $20,000 . That work is still pending.I tried to help him get the loan from bank to pay subcontractor-- but one pretext or another  he will not take loan. Complete disaster!

Everytime we've looked at this vehicle, there has been no problem that we can find. Obviously, the customer is experiencing an issue that we can't replicate in service yet.We've been unable to reach the customer until this morning when we spoke with his mom. She's going to have him bring the car in...

so we can properly diagnose it tomorrow (Friday, April 1st) morning. We're going to have the customer ride with our service manager so we can get to the bottom of his issue.

We've reached back out to [redacted] for clarification and it seems that there was some confusion on their end because South Carolina is one of the states where the refund checks go directly to the lienholder or the customer, not the dealer. They did say that there's a chance that the customer receives a refund check directly from them in the mail but they are going to call us back with more information.We don't want our customer having to wait for the banks or warranty companies so we have a check available for the customer to pick up now. We only ask that if [redacted] or the Warranty Company sends the refund check again, that the customer let us know so we can get it squared away. I apologize for the confusion, as totaling your car is frustrating enough. Come by any day and pick up this check. It's sitting on my desk. Or, if the customer prefers, we can mail it to him.
