S S Enterprise

Review: I contracted SS Enterprise to do an insurance property damage job for me that occurred on March 2, 2012 and signed a contract with them on March 17, 2012. The address on the contract is showing that SS Enterprise is currently located at 7995 W. 21st Street Unit A, Indianapolis, IN 46214 and the phone number I have listed on the contract is 317-709-8502, and I also have a number for the owner, [redacted] at 317-625-0484. I have signed contracts showing that this company was supposed to replace my roofing, siding, and gutters on my garage and home located at [redacted], IN 46241. I received a check for SS Enterprise from my insurance company for $10,691.20 which is minus the deductible and depreciation they were to receive after the completion and inspection of the job. They cashed the check at Wal-Mart for which I had to be there to sign and show I.D because of the value of the check being so high. SS Enterprise was supposed to use that money to get the materials to do the job that they were contracted to do. They never did any work, and took the money. I have tried to call them countless times with no response. I did get in touch with him once and he said he had a meeting and would call me back when he was finished and never did call me back. I contacted my mortgage company and insurance company and they advised me to file a complaint here. I can provide copies of the contracts and check stubs if required.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund in cash or cashier's check due to the fact that they cashed my check to get the cash instead of depositing it into a bank account. I would not trust them to do the work they promised as they did not fulfill their contract obligations the first time. I would like the money back so I can hire a reputable company that is accredited by the Revdex.com or use a contractor through my insurance company.
