It has taken me a while to gather all the information to put together a letter to respond to this ridiculous complaint by this disturbed woman As you will see by the attached letter I have documented the entire incident, and I have a witness to back up the true version of what happened Please review this and get back to me.Thank you, The last week of March I was contacted by a [redacted] of [redacted] ** To install some new quartz counter tops she was planning to purchase from Menards Inc I went to her home to look at the project and found out that she already purchased a faucet and had done a preliminary design of the counter tops with Menards When I checked the sketch she showed me I discovered that almost all the measurements were incorrect I changed those measurements on that sheet, and took the sketch to Menards on my own time as we had no agreement at this time to do any work I spent an hour there changing all the dimensions for the new countertops and getting a preliminary estimate price for the countertops I then used the price estimate to create a proposal for the removal and disposal of the old countertops and sink, and the purchase and installation of the new quartz countertops with an under mount stainless steel sink and the customers faucet A template was ordered to check the job before ordering the material, and I determined that there were still errors in the order so I spent another hour and a half at Menards getting that corrected so I thought [redacted] in cabinets told me the computer would not let him place the sink exactly where is should have been, but that it would have to be 1” over further from the wall because of the J joint in the material I told him it needed to be correct because there is only a 33” sink base cabinet to fit the sink in, and the sink was 32” He told me that the one inch would be ok as I could cut one side wall of the cabinet to make it fit We also ordered four loose quartz backsplashes to be applied in the field I also had to remove her dishwasher from under the old countertops to remove the screws holding down the top This required me to disconnect the water supply in order to get the dishwasher out of the space which required me to shut off all the hot water in the condo because the valve for that supply line did not shut off The dishwasher was not installed to code as there was no electrical shutoff for it in the kitchen area and it was hard wired all the way back to the breaker box I never charged Ms [redacted] anything for all this extra work The air gap unit for the dishwasher was hard piped copper direct to a separate P-trap under the sink and would not work with the new sink and countertop I pointed this out to her and she told me I did not know what I was talking about and she called Roto Rooter who sent out a young guy to come look at it He agreed that the old air gap would not work, and said it would need to be changed to the new style Ms [redacted] then took this guy to the basement and tried to tell him that she wanted him to finish this job because she did not think I knew what I was talking about and she said that company has done so much work for her in the past and they were so good and knew what they were doingI told him and her that is not going to happen as I have a signed contract to do this work and I have already done most of it Then I found out the kitchen faucet that she bought needed a four hole mounting system as it has a separate sprayer unit I told her that will not work with her countertops as there are only three holes and we need to mount the air gap I asked her to go with me to Menards to exchange it (because she said she is too afraid to drive that far because of her mental condition) and she refused to do that and told me to just take it back and get the correct unit I spent another hour trying to find a single mounting hole unit that would work in her new countertops that had the high arch feature in the finish she wanted I again did not charge her anything for this time I also had to purchase the sink strainer basket units as she did not get those with the sink Two men spent two hours shimming and leveling her particle board cabinets before we could attempt to install the new quartz tops When the order was delivered I discovered that all four backsplashes were incorrectly made as the ends that were to show were not polished as they should have been So I went back to Menards again and had them reorder the backsplashes correctly I installed the two smaller tops with no problems at all but when we went to install the sink CT we discovered the sink cutout hole was actually two and one half inches off center over the dishwasher from where it was supposed to be So we then had to take the quartz sink top unit back to the garage as it obviously had to be reordered as it was not cut per the specifications I gave Menards when it was ordered We then had to reinstall the old countertop and sink so she would have the use of that while we waited for the correct parts to be delivered I asked her at that time if she needed the dishwasher hooked up for now and she said no, she has done dishes by hand for many, many years and it would be fine I also left one kitchen drawer out of the one cabinet and over in the corner as I had to access the screws to remove the CT again later and she said that was ok When I left the condo that day the sink was working fine and all the other drawers were put back in place The incorrect quartz CT was on the cradle in the left side of the garage waiting for Menards to bring the correct units and take the incorrect ones back During the time we were waiting for the order to arrive at the condo she had me install a new sink and faucet and shutoff valves in the main bathroom of the home That was done in a few hours and there was no issue with that When I went to Menards to order the correct piece of quartz because of the sink cutout, I was not charged for that because after [redacted] called the CT manufacturer he found out that his computer design program was not correct and he could order the counter as a one piece instead of two and the sink cutout could be located exactly where it was supposed to be So he did order the replacement top with the correct dimensions to make it all fit I paid a total of $of my money to purchase the new faucet and drain parts and the sink strainers She did not pay me for those parts and later I found out she returned those parts and kept the money The proposal for this work that she signed on March 20, was for a total of $for this work including the cost of the quartz CTs The payment was broken down to two payments, one of $at signing to pay for materials and a little labor, and a final payment of $at the end of the job She however had me take her to Menards where she proceeded to pay for the quartz CTs and the sink for a total of $ That left a total of $owed on the job and I told her I would take part of that to start and she could pay me the rest on completion of the job She then insisted that she would pay the entire amount due up front because she liked and trusted me so much The problem is she only paid me $total in cash that day so she still owes me $on the original proposal So adding up the parts that I had to buy and the balance of the money owed on the proposal she still owes me $ And keep in mind I never charged her anything for all the extra time and running to Menards due to problems with the job that were out of my control I did everything I could to fix those problems for her and give her the project she wanted She told me at one point that she was planning to sell her condo and move to Germantown to be close to her daughters She did not have the condo listed or even a new place purchased to move to At first she was very nice to work with and sent me numerous text messages, as she hates to talk on the phone, telling me how happy she is with my professionalism and my work and she will call me when she needs help in the future, and how excited she is to get this work done I am including all those texts here to exhibit how her demeanor changes [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]While I don't necessarily "Accept" this response (see reasons stated below) I would like to move on from this horrible experience and do not want to continue with the back and forth I do feel that I took a financial and emotional hit in my experience with Mr*** and just want to make sure that this never happens to anyone else I also want to note that Mr *** did edit the text messages and left certain things outHere are a few things I would like to note in regards to his response:In response to his complaint that the measurements were all wrong from the beginning, that the faucet wasn't usable, and the general conduct of *** visits: The initial measurements are strictly estimates provided by an untrained professional (the customer) to get a estimate on the cost they would pay if they decide to buy the counter tops That is the reason that Menards requires a professional to come in and take true measurements As for the faucet that Mr*** insisted on taking back, that faucet was there at the time of the measurements and therefore the correct holes should have been measured for and installed. Does Mr*** have written documentation from Menards stating this was their fault because they said the measurements he gave were incorrect I can only go based off the discussions I had with Menards I do find it curious that Mr*** had to come several times to take measurements I have since ordered new counter tops and the installers came one time to measure and were able to use the faucet I originally bought They were very professional and friendly. They did not cuss or call me names or yell at me (I have two witnesses to this: the man from MrRooter as well as the man who was installing my blinds on the day Mr*** was there.) They also did not look around my house for other jobs that they could work on as Mr*** did and told me "needed" to be replaced because they were not up to code (which I later confirmed were grandfathered in because of the age of my home). Because of the foul language and names he called me I began to feel fearful and no longer felt comfortable having him in my home to complete the job.I have lost a lot of money for an incomplete job and also endured verbal abuse but as I stated earlier, at this point I would like to put all this behind me If Mr*** feels in his conscious that he deserves to be paid $(which for the record he sent me a text saying "paid in full") for an incomplete job and doesn't want to refund part of the money I paid for labor costs, that is his prerogative And yes, my demeanor did change as the job went on because I liked and trusted him in the beginning but after being shouted at and called stupid, I no longer felt he was such a great guy The reason I did pay him up front, (which he said to me "I'll take you to the bank right now if you want.") is because at the time I thought he was such a nice guy and I am a very trusting person I guess I am naive in that respect and have learned a lesson to never pay for a service before it is completed.If this ends here, I at least hope that he learned from this and that he will treat future customers with respect and gratitude for their business as all customers should be treated No one should ever have to go through the experience I did with MrSchultz

broken down to two payments, one of $2800 at signing to pay for materials and a
little labor, and a final payment of $1195 at the end of the job.  She however had me take her to Menards where
she proceeded to pay for the quartz CTs and the sink for a total of $2254.  That left a total of $1741 owed on the job
and I told her I would take part of that to start and she could pay me the rest
on completion of the job.  She then
insisted that she would pay the entire amount due up front because she liked
and trusted me so much.  The problem is
she only paid me $1595 total in cash that day so she still owes me $146 on the
original proposal.  So adding up the
parts that I had to buy and the balance of the money owed on the proposal she
still owes me $289.40.  And keep in mind
I never charged her anything for all the extra time and running to Menards due
to problems with the job that were out of my control.  I did everything I could to fix those
problems for her and give her the project she wanted.
She told me at one point that she was
planning to sell her condo and move to Germantown to be close to her

I don't know for sure yet the three backsplashes that are incorrect are being
reordered right now by Menards don't know when they will come in but they are
on order

Thursday so I'm hoping to come there Tuesday and take everything apart and make

After the incorrect piece of counter top was
discovered and reordered this is what happened:

They can't fix the countertop, the hole is in the wrong location they're
going to make a whole new top in one piece instead of two pieces and the hole

I've explained this to you before I gave Menards the exact dimensions of
where that sink should be in that countertop they screwed it up because they
claim they couldn't do it and the countertop people made it even worse by
moving it even further there was nothing I could do about it until we found out
what they did Menards admitted that the computer would not let him do what it
was supposed to do and when he called the company the company admitted that
they can easily make the peace and one piece and not do the J joint and put the
sink wherever we wanted it so that's what they're doing Menards also screwed up
the back splashes the edges of them I didn't do that I ordered them exactly the
way they were supposed to be so this is not my fault I am doing everything I
can to fix this for you and get it here as fast as possible and the two pieces
in the garage & backsplashes Menards will be
picking those up as a return credit when they deliver the new ones there's
nothing I can do about that

And for your information I have never had any legal proceedings filed
against me for anything there are no cases against me in any court anywhere so
I don't know what you're talking about but obviously you don't either and I
paid for that faucet and sink strainers out of my money

arc faucet that was the only one we could come up with

work for you including getting a free replacement countertop and backsplash is

Michael [redacted] owner of S-S Enterprises,of Wi. LLC PO Box 273, # [redacted] Pewaukee Wi. [redacted] Gave me a quote to do some work in my house. I paid a first amount of $350 on 9-3-15 with the promise that the work would be done in short order. I picked the product and set up a day for the work to be done. He cashed the check! At that point he has refused to answer my e-mails! He has not returned any of my phone calls! He did not arrive on the day he was suppose to be at the house! He has not done the work! I asked him by phone message to return my money and he has not done so. The Revdex.com makes it hard to just let them know this business is walking away with my money and has not done the work. I call their number and they do not direct my call to be answered if I wish to make a complaint. When prompted by their answering machine. The only recourse left is to go through court unless the Revdex.com contacts me and lets me know that they actually will do something. I can now see why the last bad comment about this business is negative with a refusal of exceptance for the whole process is very negative and the Revdex.com is non responsive . While giving the impression that they are taking care of the customers.

He did not show up at the scheduled times, measured the counter tops inaccurately which resulted in merchandise that could not be used or installed. He also tried to charge me for services not completed or required for the job. He was rude, unprofessional and used crude and profane language. I have an eye witness from another reputible service company who saw the mistreatment I received from the owner [redacted].Desired Settlement: Refund of $1,500 payment for services that were not completed.

It has taken me a while to gather all the information to put together a letter to respond to this ridiculous complaint by this disturbed woman. As you will see by the attached letter I have documented the entire incident, and I have a witness to back up the true version of what happened. Please review this and get back to me.
