Business states that they have gone ahead and refunded the customerThe money was put back on the card that was used and it should take 3-business days to show up on the account

In response to Nevada City Inn. I would like to add that the pictures I sent in that were taken of the hotel. The manager claims that they were taken of the inside of where the refrigerator is. That is quite wrong. They are directly in the front by the front entrance door not blocked by anything. Also it is very old growth there's no way that was just there a day or two or even a week ago. It had to have been there for months. In addition to that room where the picture was taken. I believe it was room 21. When I did ask to move. The first thing I told the gentleman the attendant. Was that I specifically asked for a room that did not have mold in it. The employee laughed, and continue to tell me that that room should not have even been used. And that he had no idea why the manager put me in that room especially per my request. When I told the attendant the next day the (female). I had already spoken to somebody the (gentleman) the night before. Now that attendant the female. Had said she wondered where my car was. She didn't see my car  there all night. In response to the manager first of all in his rebuttal saying that I was there the whole time. False. They attended never being told why I was moving. False. That I brought the mold in myself impossible. Where are the pictures were located from. False. Also. He avoided me. I saw him, after looking for him. He popped out as I was leaving. So I called immediately...he did not answer at first.And then I was contacted by him after my claim. He asked me why I went to the Revdex.com because I never gave him warning. And why would I jump to that. I stated to him I asked him for a refund to begin with. By phone in person. And again by email giving him 5 days to respond to me. None was responded to , In fact when I saw him, and talk to him on the phone he said he would never give me any money. I believe that my claim is fair I'm not asking for more than what was paid even though I wasn't there for two out of three nights. The reason was it was unbearable. Uninhabitable. I didn't want to touch anything with my bare feet or bare hands. The attendant couldn't have agreed more he stated that this place was disgusting and it's always like this. When I was contacted by him de manager by phone after I made this claim he stated that he would tell that I had a burnt spoon in the room suggesting that I am a intravenous drug user. Also that I brought the mold with me. That I was a scammer but he would offer me one free night. I told him I would never go back there first of all and then I'm not a drug user. He then stated he would go into my job and attempt to get me fired. There were words in between. Mostly calling me a liar and a scammer and he's never going to give me any money not a dime. And that he had settled with Revdex.com already and the claim was closed. So he said take it or leave it one free night. Of course I didn't believe a word he was saying and I reported that immediately to the investigator at Revdex.com.I also included a drug test I completed on my own time. from a reputable source that corr in Grass Valley a CPS police grade drug test. showing that I not only do not use intravenous drugs. but none whatsoever including no marijuana. I think it's pretty obvious that this man is in complete denial of any truths. I had no intention of scamming anyone. I simply needed a quiet few nights to get rest in a place that was clean. If I would have known the entire place was so disgusting. I would not have prepaid cash for three nights in a row. I would have left the first night in forgotten about the first payment. and just went somewhere else. Instead I had trusted and paid for three nights before I stayed even one. I have never even entered a Revdex.com type dispute in my life toward any business. The disgusting way this man handled his business made me feel it was necessary to report. I could not imagine letting anybody I knew go into this place and spend a dime or a night. Not only because of his poor management and people skills or inability to tell the truth. But the truly disgusting rooms that they allow people to sleep in. I couldn't imagine bringing my children I would have walked out as soon as I walked in. Truthfully I probably should have done the same. I was very sick and tired. I thought I could look past it and I could not. and when I asked for a refund I was refused. And I try to stick it out. After not being able to stick it out. I continue to ask for a refund. Still refused. I believed it was the right thing to do to report. And simply only ask for the amount I paid.Thank you for your time.Truthfully, [redacted]

There is no evidence of mold in the said rooms or any other rooms. This was determined by inspecting several rooms at Nevada City Inn. The guest checked the room with the Manager before he made the decision to rent it. He wanted to ensure that the room was acceptable to him. The same day later, the...

manager was on property and while making his rounds he waived and said Hi to the guest. The guest waived back and did not express any concern. Manager had a day off next day when the requested a room change. Specific reasons given to the desk staff were, (1) He wanted the downstairs room (2) he did not like the room. He did not mention mold as the reason at that time. When checking out he told another desk staff about the mold, and the desk clerk immediately called the manager, ( following standard operating procedure to handle complaints). The manager showed up at the desk within five minutes – but the guest had left. Both the Desk staff and Manager promptly went to check the room.. there was no evidence of mold in the room. The Desk staff who inspected the room with the manager has worked at this hotel for over Nine years and has excellent record of taking care of housekeeping related issues. Useful and Pertinent Background information regarding this complaint: 1. The guest himself in his complaint mentioned that he came to stay at the hotel because his house had mold issues. It is very highly possible that he brought it with him in his belongings but there was no evidence of mold in the rooms. 2. The guest not once complaint to the desk regarding the issue and states that he left the property. The staff has seen him on premises. In our experience if such a problem occurs, guest address it immediately and the staff also acts urgently if the complaint is legitimate. 3. The guest did not allow time to go and verify with hotel staff and just left. 4. The photograph on the fridge is dust on top of the fridge. The guest had to pull the fridge out from the cabinet to take that picture. Under normal conditions, guest do not exhibit such behavior, unless they are finding reasons to get refund. 5. The white stuff showing in the pictures is not mold. 6. Every time that the manager has talked to the guest regarding this complaint, the guest has used F word and cursed him out. Therefore guests comment that there was “polite” interaction is false. Considering above facts, we believe that the complaint is fraudulent. If Revdex.com wants us to do anything further with respect to this complaint, please contact us. Thank you for your cooperation and giving us an opportunity to present the facts from our end.
