We hired S&S Painting and Pressure Washing owned and operated by *** to paint the interior walls, ceiling, trim and doors of our house. He quoted $6800 based on a thorough walk through with my husband and myself and noted that he wanted cash half up front and half after the job was finished. We asked if we could pay with a check and he said yes but make it out to him personally. *** told us our job would take 5-6 days with two painters each day. On multiple days (including day one!) only one painter showed up. Even when two painters showed up, only one worker was consistently on time (***) - the other painter (***) was 30-90 minutes late every day. After having to rearrange our work schedule to accommodate three additional days of painting, they didn't come back to fix final touch ups as promised. *** said he would to my husband in person multiple times, but after 3 weeks of putting us off, now he wants $50/hour for one painter to finish the job as promised that we already paid for in full. We have lived with our house in disarray for a month now between the job running over schedule and then waiting for the final walk though. There is white trim paint on the newly colored walls, there is colored paint on the trim, and some areas you can still see the old tan paint through supposedly two coats of new paint. They left paint splatters on brand new carpet in every room upstairs and got paint on fixtures, on towels, on bedding, on floors, and on grout that was left for me to clean. The carpet will need to be professionally cleaned. The always late painter (***) cracked a tile in our bathroom standing on a metal ladder with no rubber feet, which was not repaired/replaced. I heard the crack sound, went in the half bath, and *** told me he cracked the tile. I have pictures of all of these issues. *** hustled for final payment before the job was finished. No final walk through was conducted with *** after his painters were done. He denies his painter cracked our tile. He admits carpet.

Repair I do not trust *** to return to my home for final touch ups. He has made disparaging comments to me via text and denied responsibility for the broken tile. He admitted the carpet stains were his painters fault, but said my husband said he would clean them, which is not true. I would like either a partial refund or for *** / S&S Painting and Pressure Washing to pay for the paint to be professionally cleaned from our carpets and to replace/repair the cracked tile in our bathroom.
My name is ***, I am the owner of S&S Painting and Pressure Washing. The consumer called me for a quote, and I met with her and her husband. She takes me and shows me where she had hired another painter and they used a sprayer and did not tape anything off. It was all over her floor, bedspread, lighting fixtures, etc. We do not use a sprayer in repaints!!! We began the job, and yes Eddie the one employee was late, he has been fired. She left and was out of town while the job was being completed. *** was asked about the tile breaking and he said he had seen no broken tile. He is a supervisor and a very good one. When the job was complete, I met with *** and her husband to do a walk through. Her husband said everything looked great and come back that afternoon for the remaining money owed to my company. I would say the company she fired had done close to a third of the job. I never heard another word from her until 3 weeks later!!!! That was when the accusations began. I have never been reported and take pride in my work. I will not take responsibility for what the company did. Thank you for your time.

I *** am far from a liar, or a shady business man!!!! Defamation of character is something someone should consider, while making serious threats. I have a very strong work ethic, and I take pride in my work, and appreciate all of my customers. As I said before, you were out of town, your husband did a walk through with us and even tipped our painters at the end. You took 3 weeks to contact Revdex.com concerning this matter. I'm sorry you feel we have done wrong by you, if I was upset about my painters work, I would have contacted them immediately. I wish you the best.
