believe Mr [redacted] statement to be a little disingenuousI have attached a picture where his accident occurredAs you can clearly see there is no drop off only a ramp, (notice the radiator fluid) if you look at the picture behind the barricade you can see how the trench was cut (51/2” in depth)I believe he forgot to mention that traffic had been using the ramp all day without any problems (as evidenced by a city inspector and the General Contractor) and he even stated his wife drove through the same area (in a Honda Accord) ahead of him with no problemsAfter his unfortunate incident my crew was asked by the General contractor to go back and touch up the area where his car hit, nothing was covered up and certainly nobody is lying about anythingWe questioned his speed and his driving ability (impairment) because he appeared to have a full length cast or brace on one leg when he got out of the carTo this date no pictures or police reports have been provided from him and I have seen no evidence that would suggest we have any fault, so my response was for him to simply file a claim with his insurance company Sincerely, [redacted] President S & S Paving & Construction, Inc Off# ###-###-####

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]My "impairment" was a cast on my left leg and as for automatic drive vehicles left legs are not needed. The lip was part of the problem but the biggest contribute to the accident was due to having the slope leading into the lip. Your own crew admitted fault and as I was calling my insurance your crew filled in the dip. Your own insurance admitted that the damage was caused by the road conditions and I would like to know how you can possibly explain the damage and how I could have caused it? We also have pictures and videos of the site that show the entire area where you can clearly see a slope leading into the dip which caused my front bumper and radiator to grab and throw my radiator into my engine. My wife's car was turning right and went into it at an angle, I was turning left and went straight into it.. totally different circumstances with why her car didn't scrape. We also have videos that were sent to your insurance company showing vehicles going through it and can clearly see large dipping of front ends even after filling in the holes. We also have your crew doing work the following morning not putting up signs stating road is blocked and appropriate detour signs. We have a video of a vehicle having to turn around and find their own detour route because of not following city guidelines. I will upload pictures a little later as well as the youtube videos showing sloppy crew work.
