Just to make my experience crystal clear, my wife phoned S&S, at least twice, and asked we be removed from their mailing list before handing it off to me, when we received the Spring catalog (I cannot read any date on the bulk mailing address labels)I phoned and stressed my anger for receiving yet another catalogI was assured her name was removed, and mailings would stop (date unknown).
Quite some time later (months), a catalog (Summer 2014) appeared in my mail (May 2014)I phoned again and this time was told we were already on a Do Not mail listOnce more I voiced my wishes to not have these appear in my mailboxWhen I hung up I filed this Revdex.com complaint with youI received notification that they’d forwarded my complaint to S&S and were awaiting an answer
Roughly days after that Revdex.com reply I received a brand new not wanted Summer/Fall S&S catalogI’m 99.9% certain this was in response to my Revdex.com complaintAt that time I attemted to update my complaint with you (I'm not certain I was successfulWhy not just do this via e-mail? Options with your system are extremely limited!) and contacted the State of Connecticut, Attorney General
It’s my sincere wish we never have to correspond about this matter again but I’m not very optimistic!
Thanks for your help with this matter
Sincerely,

Dear Ms***,I am writing you in response to the Revdex.com complaint (ID ***) you filed on May 12th, regarding receiving unwanted catalogs from S&S Worldwide; even after you notified us several times to be removed from our mailing list. First of all I want to
apologize that we have not been able to properly stop sending you our catalogsI can fully understand how annoyed, frustrated and angry you must be. S&S Worldwide is a mail order marketerWe mail several million catalogs to our customers across the world every yearWe follow best practices when it comes to database management and we make every effort to remove names from our database and suppress them from our mailing list files when customers request itWe have no wish to send our catalogs to individuals who do not want them; such would clearly be a bad business strategyNevertheless, mistakes do happen.I reviewed your “account” and all the “contact records” associated with your “account”I do see that all the correct steps were taken to have all name(s) removed from our house-file database. For me, it makes no sense either as to why you still keep receiving catalogs; it clearly shows that everything is shut-off here at the S&S side of our house-file databaseI have worked with our internal mail-list management team who has investigated your “account” further with our third party mail-list company (that company actually manages our catalog circulation)They did locate an old record that was not visible to us here at S&SThere appeared to have been a purchase made through *** quite a while ago that somehow tied you back into S&S.I have been assured by our internal mail-list management group as well as our mail-list partner that all your records, addresses and names have been removed as well as suppressed from all future mailingsOf course, I do have to alert you that we have no way of stopping any printed catalogs that are already in the process of being mailedOur catalog printing process occurs a few months prior to its mailingsSince there was an old record of you out there at our catalog mailing company, you may receive a few more catalogsBut that will be the end of it.Again, we are truly sorry that it is taking so long to resolve such a seemingly simple matter and should you have any further questions in the matter, please contact me directly.Sincerely,*** ***-- *** ***Manager Contact CenterS&S Worldwide** *** *** *** ** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I do ask you maintain a copy of this entire complaint in S&S Worldwide's file. It took us over a year and finally getting the AG involved to get to this point. It shouldn't be this difficult. No matter what [redacted] contends the last catalog was retribution for the Revdex.com complaint. NO ONE mails catalogs 7 days apart!

Sincerely,
[redacted]

It appears that Revdex.com contacted S&S Worldwide to alert of
this pending case on or before 6/8/2014. Due to a very high
occurrence of virus containing emails from the Revdex.com, all emails
from the Revdex.com that are containing links are systemically "spammed"
by our company. The first hard copy letter from the Revdex.com that S&S
Worldwide received (addressed to myself) was dated 7/2/2014. I
immediately responded to the Revdex.com complaint via fax on 7/7/2014. My
response contained the letter (dated 6/25/2014) that was written
to the [redacted] by [redacted], Co-President of
S&S. The letter explained the timing of the catalog mailings
and their receipts.
[redacted] filed his complaint with Revdex.com on 5/28/2014. S&S
did not respond to any Revdex.com notifications until 7/7/2014. In the
meantime [redacted] notified the [redacted], Co-president of S&S Worldwide responded to AG
complaint via letter on 6/25/2014.
It is not quite clear what [redacted] is trying to express in
his latest response dated 7/8/2014. He states that his wife
received a catalog "roughly" 7 days after the initial Revdex.com
complaint.  [redacted] is "99.9% certain" that the catalog was
mailed "in response" to his filing of the Revdex.com complaint.  The [redacted] received the Summer 2014 catalog on June 3rd. The mailing
of that catalog was addressed and explained in the letter by [redacted]. No more catalogs have been mailed since May 24th and no
more catalogs have been received by this  [redacted] or his wife
since June 3rd.
As [redacted] explained in his letter to the [redacted], S&S Worldwide has no wish to mail catalogs to
individuals who do not want them. The [redacted] have been removed
from the S&S Worldwide mailing lists.

Review: I have 4 times over a 6 month period (wife requested once first) asked/demanded they stop sending catalogs to my home. They continue to appear! I want it stopped NOW!!!Desired Settlement: I'm willing to wager I'm not the only person like this! Require return postage be included with all their catalog mailings! Maybe getting in their pocket will wake them up. It'd be good for the [redacted] too.

Review: I have requested removal from the company's mailing list 3-5 times since January 2015. While I understand it may take a month or two to remove us from their mailing list, it has now been about 5 months, and we continue to receive unwanted catalogs (we are a small nonprofit and we are receiving six copies, all of which immediately go into the recycling bin). The latest copies arrived today, 5/12/15.Desired Settlement: I would like our address and all employees associated with a catalog permanently removed from their mailing list. Thank you.

Dear Ms. [redacted],I am writing you in response to the Revdex.com complaint (ID [redacted]) you filed on May 12th, regarding receiving unwanted catalogs from S&S Worldwide; even after you notified us several times to be removed from our mailing list. First of all I want to apologize that we have not been able to properly stop sending you our catalogs. I can fully understand how annoyed, frustrated and angry you must be. We follow best practices when it comes to database management and we make every effort to remove names from our database and suppress them from our mailing list files when customers request it. We have no wish to send our catalogs to individuals who do not want them; such would clearly be a bad business strategy. Nevertheless, mistakes do happen.I reviewed your “account” and all the “contact records” associated with your “account”. I do see that all the correct steps were taken to have all name(s) removed from our house-file database. For me, it makes no sense either as to why you still keep receiving catalogs; it clearly shows that everything is shut-off here at the S&S side of our house-file database. I have worked with our internal mail-list management team who has investigated your “account” further with our third party mail-list company (that company actually manages our catalog circulation). They did locate an old record that was not visible to us here at S&S. There appeared to have been a purchase made through [redacted] quite a while ago that somehow tied you back into S&S.I have been assured by our internal mail-list management group as well as our mail-list partner that all your records, addresses and names have been removed as well as suppressed from all future mailings. Of course, I do have to alert you that we have no way of stopping any printed catalogs that are already in the process of being mailed. Our catalog printing process occurs a few months prior to its mailings. Since there was an old record of you out there at our catalog mailing company, you may receive a few more catalogs. But that will be the end of it.Again, we are truly sorry that it is taking so long to resolve such a seemingly simple matter and should you have any further questions in the matter, please contact me directly.Sincerely,[redacted]-- [redacted]Manager Contact CenterS&S Worldwide[redacted]
