Review: Have a account with s&t for two of my businesses my one business I have account number [redacted] is the account that has me writing this complaint. I received a call a couple days ago while I was out of town from s&t that my account was overdrawn unbeknownst to me. I told the customer service lady that I would be traveling back into town the following day and I would resolve the situation she said I was at the point where I would be getting charged a daily overdraft fee of 10 dollars for everyday. I asked her about the overdraft charges and if any could possibly be waived she said that the branch manager would be able to assist with that at the saltsburg office. After getting off the phone I was able to check my account and see I was charged a total of 470 dollars in overdraft fees while I was out of town and unaware of the overdraft. I went into the bank and cleared up the overdraft and asked to speak to a manager to see if any fees could be waived as the customer service said they would be able to assist with waiving some of the fees. I was told there is nothing that they are willing to do to resolve or even help a total of 520$ in overdraft fees even though ive never had any problems before or ever had any fees waived for someone who has two business accounts with this institution I would figure they would be willing to help which is why I switched to this institution obviously a bad mistake. Waiting to contact someone till a account is overdrawn by 470 dollars is ridiculous I was told well you should have gotten a letter well some people travel for business. Don't wait till a account is 470 dollars overdrawn to contact a customer either by email or phoneDesired Settlement: I would like at least some of the fees waived that were charged to the account as I didn't receive the letters as I was out of town at least send a email or don't wait till account is 470 dollars overdrawn to call a customer

Review: I contacted the 1-800 number on January 25th due to my [redacted] account not transferring money to my bank account. I was stuck in a parking garage and needed to pay to leave. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and told me he could allow the transaction to go through but I would pay an overdraft fee. I agreed to pay the one time overdraft fee and got out of the parking garage. I had money transferred to my checking account which made the account positive and paid the overdraft fee. A week later a transaction went through that caused my account to be overdrafted again. I called the 1-800 number to see why it went through and regarding a letter I received that said I was now enrolled in some program. The girl I spoke with understand why I was upset but wouldn't help and didn't think it was wrong that the original rep did not tell me he was enrolling me into a program that would allow all transactions to go through even if the money wasn't in the account. I had spoke to my bank a few weeks before that and told them I definitely never wanted enrolled in the program. Since the rep wasn't listening and was asking over me I asked for a supervisor. I got the same treatment and rudeness from the next girl also who hung up on me when I yelled at her for talking over me. I called my local branch and asked how I could close my account because I didn't want to deal with. A bank that treated their customers this way. Michelle said she would look into it and I never got a call back. I called on 2/5 and asked for an update. On 2/8 I got a vm from Linda just saying she was calling. I called back and left a vm on her desk. As of today I still haven't been called with a resolution or explanation. I feel I should have to pay all the overdraft fees totaling $140 due to their reps mistake. This is also making me look bad for having a negative balance for two weeks and should be compensated. Please look into this issue. I have been a loyal customer for 5+ years. Thank youDesired Settlement: Refunded $140 in overdraft fees plus compensated for the two weeks of very poor service from a bank.

My wife & I run a small business in Brookville, and we chose S&T Bank as our financial institution. We have had nothing but problems with this bank. Everything from rudeness from Lana H[redacted], to not helping us resolve issues that a small business shouldnt have to deal with. I am very disappointed with this bank, they seem to have policies in place that make it very difficult to conduct business. My wife & I are both on the account yet they will not speak with me on certain issues, I am the business manager. My wife works with clients, but has to be pulled away to resolve issues with this bank. If you are looking for a bank that will stand behind you & support you, look else where.

Review: On the 12th of December 2013 I, [redacted], attempted to close my checking account, but was unsuccessful. [redacted] then claimed my mortgage interest rate and principal amount would both increase, and there could even been a service termination fee of $350.00. At the end of our thirty minute conversation, [redacted] attempted to have me sign a loan modification paper (for a rate and principle increase). I went to close my checking account, which did not happen, and the bank representative attempted to hoodwink me into a loan modification.Desired Settlement: Proper training for your employees, the employees representing your company should be educated on the products and services they sell and maintain.
