This is a response written to Mr. [redacted] this morning via email with the explanation of his concern and delay of the project. Additionally after Ms. [redacted] came in to the office irate demanding action we notified the Universal City of the incident so they would be aware of it as...

well and documented.  Mr. [redacted],The arduous task has been completed on my side and we are awaiting approval from the city to start the project. We wrote the contracted for this job on  4/11/2017 and received initial deposit of $2,591.53.and a signed contract on the 4/14/2017.I called the Universal City on Monday 4/17/2017 to find out about the permit process in that city. I also made you aware of the process that would trigger a Carbon Monoxide detector inspection that would be triggered by this roof replacement. Additionally, I sent you the information to make it easier for you to understand their requirements to be in compliance. The process to obtain a new contractors registration packet required the following1- Bank reference2- customer references2- supplier references1- Texas DPS Background Check report1 -$5000 Bond for the city3- page questioner for the registration packet require. It takes 3-5 days for the packet to be approved and permit issued I have been told.4/23/2017After finding out the process I explained that this process would take much longer now that we had to do all of this just to get a permit  in Universal City. You responded on 4/23/2017 at 5:53am with: "Hi [redacted],Sorry this has been such a hassle with the City of UC. Are you in a position to give me a target start date yet?”4/26/2017 I wrote on  that my Bond should be ready by Friday."MR. [redacted],I should have my Bond by Friday. If its early enough I will run it to the city to secure the permit. If not then I try agin on Monday to get it and we should be ok. "We didn't receive our confirmation  of the Bond until May 2, 2017. May 3, 2017 at 12:34 you wrote:Hi [redacted],Can you give an update on the replacement status? Thanks!I responded at 10:34 pm that same day:"Yes sir it's looking like Tuesday 5/9 of next week. For installation. I apologize for the delayed response. "Our work load is 2-3 weeks out as I believe I told you initially and we were going to work you in because you were a small roof that could be done relatively quickly. In the past few weeks we have had delays with weather and the threat of rain in the forecast which puts a damper on our workload and delays work even further. Every job stay maintains the original order that it was in and gets done according to the position they are in at that time. The permit process is under review at Universal City waiting to be approved. I called yesterday morning to follow up and it had not been approved yet at yet.  They also have a copy of the contract and are aware of your need to have the roof done quickly. Ms. [redacted] went to our office yesterday and wanted talk with me about the delays of getting her roof installed she said. [redacted] called me because I was out in the field, she was asking for a the job to be done now or wanting a refund due to the delays. I explained to her that I have put in a lot time and Money to register with the City of Universal City and get the permit for the job. I explained that I don’t have permission to start and can’t until I do. Not understanding the process or not aware of the situation and time involved she hung up in frustration and left our office upset.Last night at 12:23 am she Wrote to Revdex.com and made case on the situation  with our company with inaccurate and missing information to portray us as uninterested in doing her mothers roof replacement and just wanting to take a poor old lady’s money that was ill and in need of a roof to to sell her house to pay for medical issues. I am not happy with Ms. [redacted] for portraying a picture of our company to be untruthful and out to get her mother and her money. Now I'm forced to defend my position against her frivolous actions and  her threatening to sue for the deposit given to complete the roof. I want nothing more than to complete this project and put this behind me. I will do a great job just like all of our other clients have experienced with integrity despite her action to slander me. I will follow up again today with UC Permit Department to see where we stand on the process. As soon as we have the ok, I will have the materials delivered, which have been ordered, and have the next crew start the job. Following  that the roof must be inspected by the city inspector and given a passing grade before being released. Final payment will then be due upon completion. Rain is in the forecast all week as you know but it doesn’t seem to be a reality at times because its sporadic if at all. We will do our best as always to expedite this project with care. Ultimately its my decision to not open a roof for the fact that safety is our number on concern and damage to the interior of the home could be done if it rains and the roof is venerable to the elements. Thank You.
