Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2016/03/16) */
Thank you for allowing us to respond.
We have been working with this homeowner for some time, and have offered a variety of solutions. Additionally, our standard garage finish has been explained on multiple occasions. The standard finish that...

is applied to the jam sections is to remove the [redacted] paper and then apply paint. We do not install smart board over the jams, as this would be the incorrect way to finish off the garage opening and would reduce the opening by 2 inches in width and 1 inch in height thus causing other issues to potentially occur. We have presented two options for the homeowner in an attempt to remedy this challenge, which include:
1. The removal of the [redacted] wrap and painting of the trim.
2. Leave the garage as is and allow the homeowner to finish off as they see fit at their expense.
We are currently awaiting a response from the home owner as to how they'd like to proceed. We would like to have this completed as quickly as possible, and arrangements can be made by reaching out to us at [redacted] and we will get everything scheduled as needed.
We care about all of our home owners and wish to see this reasonably and quickly resolved. While these challenges are few and far between we always welcome contact and communication with our customers, and are committed to addressing any outstanding concerns.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 16, 2016/04/18) */
Thank you for the email but I was promised in writing what was expose to be completed. Sabal now [redacted] is trying to get out of what was promised. [redacted]

Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2016/04/26) */
Although we can appreciate the level of frustration, we have offered solutions to rectify the concern, and our standard garage finish has been explained on multiple occasions. The standard finish that is applied to the jam sections is to remove the [redacted] paper and then apply paint. We do not install smart board over the jams, as this would be the incorrect way to finish off the garage opening and would reduce the opening by 2 inches in width and 1 inch in height thus causing other issues to potentially occur. As stated we have presented two options for the homeowner in an attempt to remedy this challenge, which include:
1. The removal of the [redacted] wrap and painting of the trim.
2. Leave the garage as is and allow the homeowner to finish off as they see fit at their expense.
These two options remain in place for the homeowner and if they would like to proceed please contact us at [redacted]
Again, we would like to apologize if there have been any miss communication/understanding with the work that is to be completed.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/16) */
Landscaping deposits are an additional deposit, not recorded on the purchase agreement, but rather shown on the statement of adjustments at closing. It is the accounting department that will generate the statement of adjustments and send it to...

our customers, and to our lawyer along with the possession letter. This statement of adjustments indicates home, lot, addendums, and all deposits, including the landscape deposit. Rarely, but once in a while, a landscaping deposit may not be taken at point of sale and therefore, not cashed. Our purchase agreement populates only home, lot and gst. There is no ability to add additional money to a home without indicating what it is. This is a limitation/safety precaution of the system. If there is no record, from the customer or the builder that relates to this money being deposited, there is no money to be returned. If you had something additional to show us that indicates otherwise, we of course would fulfill our requirement to refund the money.

Due to many variables in homes, we do not have control over how and when vermin may enter a house. From a customer service stand point, we have done our best to close off any said entrance points for mice.
