When we gave them our move out notice, they attempted to install a lockbox sooner than the lease allowed I had to repeatedly point out that the lease allowed the lockbox to be installed days before the end of the lease, not 47, but they insisted they should do it because it was a Friday and they didn't want to wait till the following Monday Even after Meg finally agreed that they would be violating the lease and they wouldn't do it, they still sent someone by, and it was only because I was alert that I caught Rachel attempting to install the lockbox illegally and was able to stop her
When we objected to leasing agents entering our home at any time they pleased, Hindsite sent me an email that included this little nugget: "At this point, if any additional reports are received from Agents about not being able to show the property, we will enforce Paragraph 14.D.(2), of the lease and bill you the $fee on your Tenant Ledger." The only problem is that the charge can only be applied if we as the tenants submitted written notice that we wanted the lockbox removed As we had not given that notice, they would in fact be unable to charge us However, they were still more than willing to make the threat,
They were in clear violation of the requirement that landlords in Texas are required to install keyless locking devices as per the Texas Property Code, section 92, subchapter D: A keyless bolting device and a door viewer on each exterior door is required Even though I requested the installation of said required security devices, Hindsite 20/completely ignored our request
Please warn your friends, family, even your enemies NOT to rent from these people They will steal from you while trampling your rights as a tenant

The worst property management out thereThey do not take care of the property They leave it roach infested and rodent infestedThey let your property be destroyed by vermin and lead to costly repairs and unhappy tenants Repairs are not ever completed and no one is ever in onsite officeInstead of fixing issues wrong with the property if tenants complain they evict them
