Discolored corrugated Lexan Hurricane panels.Corrugated Lexan XL-10 storm panels purchased 8 years ago with 10 yr warranty have become discolored. Original supplier is out of business. Panels were produced by GE Plastics which was taken over by Sabic. (I offered a solution that they did not even consider or respond to!). Any warranty claim must be made within the warranty period. The warranty claim must be in writing and accompanied with the original sales receipt, name and address of the place of purchase, date of purchase, complete product name or SKU number and the quantity purchased (the "Purchase Details"). Furthermore, SABIC must test a sample of the product to determine if a claim is justified.If SABIC determines that a claim under the warranty is justified, SABIC would provide the customer with replacement material, free of charge, in accordance with a prorated schedule as set out in the limited warranty. If replacement material cannot be provided within a reasonable period of time, SABIC may opt to refund the original purchase price paid, prorated in accordance with the limited warranty's schedule.The customer has not complied with the requirements of the limited warranty. Customer has not provided SABIC with the Purchase Details and Customer is not willing to supply SABIC with a sample for testing. SABIC has communicated the limited warranty requirements to the customer on more than one occasion SABIC is still waiting for [redacted] to provide us with requested information required under our limited warranty.
