Review: On Wednesday March 30th, 2016 at 7:30 am I called Sac Pool Pros (SPP) and was told by [redacted] that he would come out himself and within the hour. He also mentioned that they would do the job for $100 less than the competition. Things immediately got heated in my quote requests as each company had derisive things to say about one another. I settled on Sac Pool Pros. I had concerns about my filtration so I spoke directly to the owner of Sac Pool Pros, [redacted], about it. I asked if he could come out and look at my filter system and provide an expanded quote for draining and cleaning the pool and filters; if the price was right I would sign on. He assured me that he would come out and look at my pool himself and let me know what needed to be done and then we could do the paperwork and get it done. Half an hour later two guys showed up at my home from SPP. They were there to "Do the work". I asked the whereabouts of [redacted] and the gentleman called him. a few moments later [redacted] called me and we spoke. He explained that he was on a job and would come shortly. The workers set up a pump. I asked them to check the filters first. Neither knew what I was talking about. [redacted] assured me he was on the way and would arrive by 1:00 pm. I ran a few errands and then returned home. The pool was empty and filling with water. I was astonished because this was not the deal. The workers were no where to be found. I waited for [redacted] to arrive and when he did not I went to my 1:30 appointment. Immediately following the appointment I called [redacted] about his whereabouts and he informed me that he would be by the next day. I noticed that my pool floor was missing pieces of the surface to the tune of about 1200 small and large chips. My chlorine tablets were emptied out onto the ground. I called and engaged [redacted] about this and he said, "Well lets just agree not to do business together" Just don't go after me on social media. My pump was taken apart and the filters dried and popped. The smaller filter was broken.Desired Settlement: I want my pool floor repaired and I want the broken part of my pump repaired and I want to be reimbursed for my Chlorine Tablets and the filters and manifold broken during the job. There has also been the emergence of Black Algae which I have learned is caused by refilling a pool without properly putting in the chemicals. I was not properly represented or served in this matter. They did not have permission to do what they did to my pool.

We spent a lot of time researching before we made this decision. A pool is a very big investment and we wanted to do it right. We found several of the bids we received were incomplete and thus "seemed" much lower priced. Sac Pool promised high quality in workers and materials AND they delivered. The workers took great pride in their work and our pool is beautiful. It has very much enhanced the value of our home. Pools are expensive but they add so much value. We are delighted with our Sac Pool Pros pool. I recommend them without reservation.

Review: I hired Sac Pool Pros to do a one time cleaning of pool to get ready for summer at the price of $200.00 and paid two months up front of $65.00. Total check $330.00. [redacted] the owner stated they have over 75 employees and in their company and their business license so I felt comfortable they would do the job correct. The pool was never cleaned properly. The first cleaning consisted of putting chemicals in the pool and brush down the walls only to leave all the debris down on the bottom of pool. I was informed it would be vaccummed. So I placed a call to [redacted] to say what happened when can you fix. He will talk to the guy who did it. Next week same response (still not cleaned). Third week (same response and along with the office would be calling me)NO RESPONSE. Third week the A NO SHOW from them. Called him and he stated he was on vacation and wish he could fix the problem. Stated he would be back on 5/2. So I called he ignored my call and had my son call him right back on his phone, he answered and my son told him we wanted a refund. He cant help he is in the middle of the ocean. I WANT A FULL REFUND BACK AS FOR MY POOL WENT WITHOUT TREATMENT UNTIL SOMEONE HAD TIME IN THEIR SCHEDULE TO TAKE ME ON AS A NEW CLIENTDesired Settlement: SEND CHECK OUT IMMEDIATELY

Review: On September 1, 2015 a representative from Sac Pool Pros came to our home to clean the tile on our pool as requested by phone to the company. He did a pretty good job cleaning the tile. However, he did not clean up the sand on the deck, or in the pool. Our pool sweeper tried to vacuum up the immense amount of sand left behind on the bottom of the pool. After awhile we noticed the pool sweep operating more and more slowly. When my husband attempted to pull the filters out of the filter housing, it was too heavy. Our filter is about 3' tall holding 23 filters. The filters are full of sand and the collection of sand on the bottom of the filter housing is inches deep. My husband has attempted to get this sand out. But there is still a lot left. We have an attached spa and if we sweep the bottom.....up comes a cloud of sand which is not being delivered to the pool in order to be filtered out. Our pool sweep has not been operational for over a month. The pool really needs to keep up with the cleaning. Also, I was never given an invoice showing payment of $450.00 that we made at the end of the job. I have asked repeatedly for one to no avail. I have called the phone number given in their email, and emailed the company asking for an invoice and coming out to finish the job. I have received no invoice and our pool is still in the above mentioned condition.Desired Settlement: FIRST: We would like someone from Sac Pool Pros to come out with their vacuum equipment and vacuum the pool, spa, and evacuate the sand from the filter housing and the filters, and make sure the pump is running correctly.SECOND: I would like an invoice showing the job done and the payment made for the job done.Thank You...

I call this guy over to inspect my pool equipment and give me an estimate. It turns out its was just my old dirty cartridges. He charge me $75 for the service but if I needed any parts it will be included with the $75. I need a piece of hardware that tighten my filter which he said he can drop it off the next day. I gave him $80 but he have no change so I said it's ok, he can give me the $5 change and the screw and springs tomorrow when he drop it off. He left and never came back. I call and call but he said it's just $5 and a piece of hardware. It's going on 3 weeks now and still have not gotten my $5 and the hardware he promised. Now he will not answer my phone call. Do not use this guy. Oh, he also bad mouth the owner of [redacted].

Review: On July 19th 2015 the owner of the company [redacted] replied to a quote I asked for from his website. He quoted me $650 for tile cleaning and $200 for redoing my expansion joint surrounding the pool. [redacted] said he'd be out Wednesday the 22nd of July. Another man showed up to do the tile cleaning. I had asked several times if and when the joint would be re done, and was told that he had tried contacting his [redacted] all day to see when he'd be there with no responses. He told me [redacted] was supposed to be here in the morning but wasn't returning his calls or emails. The tile cleaning was completed and done ok. The owner [redacted] finally showed up on Thursday July 23rd 2015, and proceeded to do a poorly rushed job leaving caulking all over our cement, our brick coping, our steps and several other places around the pool. It looks like my 4yr old did the job, theres hand prints and splatter all over and several feet from the pool, and the joint is sunk in all around the pool. The joint was also not properly done leaving gaps and sunken in places all around the pool, he also damaged the black expansion strip on one side of the pool. [redacted] told my husband that he would be back the following day on Friday July 24the 2015 and never showed. I called [redacted] multiple times from my cell phone with no answer, I texted him with no answer and emailed with no response. I finally called him from another phone number which he answered immediately and proceeded to tell me he would be here Saturday to fix his mistake and clean up his mess. I also emailed [redacted] pictures stating it must be fixed or taken out and that I wanted a refund with no response from him. So my husband tried calling and texting him multiple times with no response until he also called from a separate number with immediate answer. [redacted] told him that he replied to my email stating he would refund my money (which he did not reply), And said he would call Monday the 27th of July 2015 with a day and time for removal. [redacted] also stated you had put a refund check in the mail that day (Saturday July 25th). [redacted] never called on Monday, I texted him. My husband also called [redacted] from his cell with no response. Wednesday July 29th 2015 I had him call from the other number and [redacted] answered immediately again. We told [redacted] we had yet to receive a check, he again stated it was mailed out Saturday, he also gave us a date of Saturday Aug 1st 2015 for removal, which again was not completed. [redacted] Randolph at Sac Pool Pros has gone completely a wall and won't respond to any forms of communication. His work and work ethic is horrible. I would hire my 4yr old over him or his company any day.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my money and I want to be paid to have his poorly done job removed. I do not trust him to be at my house or to comply with removal of his horrible work, so I ask that he pay to have it removed and or fixed by a company of my choice.

Review: On May 18 2015 the owner of Sac Pool Pros came to my house to do an inspection and give me an estimate of how much it would cost to replace my pool equipment. The total estimated cost of the repair was $8444. The owner [redacted] told me he would need about half, $4000 up front to order the equipment. I gave Mr. [redacted] a $4000 credit card check. As I followed up with Mr. [redacted] on several occasions he indicated that all the equipment had not come in yet. When I called him to check the status after 2 months he told me his equipment storage had been broken into and all his equipment, including the equipment for our pool repair was stolen. He told me at that time he would not be able to complete the job and offered me a refund once he received the insurance check. After over a month he indicated that he did not have the money to pay me in full all at once. At that point he set up a payment arrangement to pay me back $500 a week until the debt was paid. Mr. [redacted] made two payments. After a few weeks he told me he was moving to Arizona and getting out of the business and filing for bankruptcy. He agreed to pay me $100 a week. He paid one payment then I was unable to contact him for a while. I then found out that he did not close down his company and there were many ongoing projects be done by Sac Pool Pros. I posed as a customer and contacted Sac Pool Pros at their website. [redacted] responded to me and indicated he was the new owner and he did not know of the money owed to me by Sac Pool Pros. [redacted] Assured me he would get us money and set up a payment plan. We were paid 2 more payments of $100 over a one month period. [redacted] told us we could get pool equipment instead of payment. We made arrangements for our new pool contractor to pick up the equipment but Sac pool pros backed out at the last moment. Both [redacted] have threatened to not pay us anything at all if we were to go onto social media to report our bad experience. We have been threatened for calling them.Desired Settlement: Get our $2800 dollars back so we can fix our pool. If it is a payment plan we need them to stick to it and for it to be an amount so that the debt could be paid off in three months.
