Review: I have been billed in the amount of $424.00 for services that the office had "pre-approved" from my insurance company. I spoke with multiple individuals including the office manager "Stacy" to let her know I wouldn't have had the services performed if I new the costs involved. I asked Stacy if there was anyone else I could speak to and was informed there was not. My family isn't in a situation to take on these types of costs and I would have never proceeded with service if I wasn't told the service wasn't covered in full by [redacted]. The notice states they are turning the account over to collections.Desired Settlement: Balance written off

Review: dentist began dental procedure (root canal , post and crown )dentist accomplished root canal and have told me that they have not received authorization from the insurance company to do the procedure and have told me that it would take 3weeks for the approval - it has been almost 2 months and on a second follow up phone call I was told they would try to find out what happened to the approval and call me back - they have not called me back or contacted my insurance company to the best of my knowledgeDesired Settlement: I would like the dentist to finish the procedure and be more honest with me as to the reason why they have not contacted me or called to set an appointment to complete the procedure

[redacted] I have not heard from Sachem Dental Group concerning my complaint. I have spoken to my insurance company and have made an appointment with another dentist office to complete the dental procedure (post and crown). The appointment with the new dentist is Monday 4/**/14. The only correspondence I have received concerning Sachem Dental Group was from my insurance company it was a pre estimate for $7155.00 for dental work on 4 teeth that I never discussed with the dentist.
Review: Was told a dental procedure was not covered by insurance, which in fact it was, and was guided towards another procedure that I was told was a cheaper option, and none of it was covered by insurance. I called and was told this was explained to me, which was a lie. I would have never opted to pay for a procedure when I could have had a somilar one done for free. I am very disappointed that a health care provider would do this to someone. All in all I am out $3012. I am sure I am not the only person they have done this to.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and would like to make the public aware of the shay practices that are being done by Sachem dental.
