Sacramento Contracting Reviews (16)

Dean (owner) from Sacramento contracting came out and gave me a bid on my roof. The price was very reasonable so I hired him to do the work. Started the job about eight weeks later and everything looks great. Couldn't be more pleased with their workmanship! Would recommend them to family and friends for sure! Thanks for a great job!

Sacramento Contracting removed shingles and installed a new roof and gutters on our home. We were very pleased with the work and the competitive pricing. Owners were professional and were on site daily by 7 or 730 am and completed the work on time and according to contract. They even worked on Saturday (with permission) to complete the job in a timely manner. They also kept the surrounding areas (decks and flower beds) very clean daily despite the challenges of the pitch and height of the roof.

Hired sacramento contracting to put on a new roof on my shop last year. They did a such a great job with all the details. Looks so good! Very happy with everything..I would highly recommend this company!

Dean from Sacramento contracting came out and gave us a bid on two of our shop roofs last year in 2015. We accepted their bid to do the work! They Worked all day, everyday and were very efficient until the job was completed. They cleaned up very well, too! I am very satisfied with this company and I would recommend them to anybody I can in the future! Thanks Dean

Dean (the owner) gave me a fair an honest bid (because I got 3) to replace my roof , gutters and fascia. They were efficient and got the job done quickly and answered my questions as well as solved a couple problems that came up during the job. I have recommended them to friends.

From the quote stage to the finish stage, Dean was very professional. The quote packet he provided was well organized, easy to read, and descriptive of the expectations of the job. Dean would quickly return phone calls and completed tasks on schedule. He was always polite, respectful, well spoken, and easy to communicate with. The work he performed was precise and well constructed. He took great pride in his finished product and stood behind his workmanship. A year after having the gutters installed, I thought they were leaking. He was willing to come out and fix the problem immediately. I later found out the problem was not in the workmanship but from a back-up of leaves. I would definitely recommend Dean to anyone and will most certainly be a return customer.

Sacramento Contracting was recommended to us for roof replacement. We were NOT disappointed. They were prompt with an estimate, helpful in choosing the material and most importantly the price they quoted was reasonable. They arrived promptly as scheduled to start the job, were hard working, finished the job in a timely manner AND cleaned up when they finished. We were so pleased with the job they did we scheduled them for the following spring to replace our soffit and fascia. These guys are hard working.....these guys are GOOD!

Dean was very prompt and professional. He came out with in two days from me calling him. He went over all the details of what he was going to do and gave me all the samples of all the products to look over. Within three days I received a very professional looking quote and everything was itemized and very easy to read. Price was in there with the others. Finally we went with Sacramento contracting because of so many reasons. I'm so glad we did! Everything looks awesome! Thanks Dean and Sacramento Contracting! Highly recommended!

Sacramento Contracting put a new roof and siding on my home last year. They provided a comptitive quote and professional service. Dean was especially responsive and paid attention to all details throughout the project. I had a concern with the gutter covers that were installed and Dean promptly addressed the problem. Dean was professional and showed pride in his workmanship.

I would not hesitate to use Sacramento contracting for contracting services in the future and highly recommend them to others.

The roof on my home needed to be replaced. I rarely pay anyone to do work around my home, but I decided to spend the extra money and have a professional install the new roof instead of doing it myself. A good friend of mine recommended Sacramento Contracting. I placed a call to Dean S[redacted], telling him what I wanted done. He showed up at my home in a day or two and provided a very reasonable estimate. I had Dean and his men do the work. I was pleased with the quality of work, material used and Dean did everything he said he would. What I was really impressed with was how clean they left the worksite. I didn't find as much as an old roofing nail lying around. Nowadays, it is difficult to get a contractor of any kind to show up or even call you back, let alone one you can trust to do the job right and at a fair price. Sacramento Contracting is a reputable company who I would recommend to friends, family and anyone in need of repairs.

I NEEDED A NEW ROOF INSTALLED ON MY HOME AND I WAS RECOMMENDED TO SACRAMENTO CONTRACTING BY A FRIEND. THEY STARTED THE JOB WHEN THEY SAID AND FINISHED IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY PERFORMED IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND REPLACED EVERYTHING THEY HAD TO MOVE TO ITS ORGINAL LOCATION. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Sacramento Contracting recently put a new roof on my home. We were given a very reasonable estimate in a timely fashion. Dean Sacramento was very professional and knowledgeable while helping my husband and I choose the most suitable roof that would best match our house. The job was completed within the time frame that we discussed and the final product turned out even better than we expected! I would highly recommend Sacramento contracting for any roofing/contracting needs!

My new roof looks great! This company is very professional and honest. They did a great job and were very reliable. They payed attention to every detail. My plants and landscaping were protected and their clean up was excellent! I highly recommend Sacramento roofing.

SACRAMENTO CONTRACTING DID MY ROOF A FEW MONTHS BACK, THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL! THEY STARTED THE JOB WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND FINISHED A DAY EARLY. IT WAS A PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. IT WOULD BE NICE IF MORE BUSINESSES OPERATED LIKE SACRAMENTO CONTRACTING.

I would highly recommend Sacramento contracting for all your roofing and home remodeling projects. We are so pleased with their work! Thank you so much for making this process so easy!

Review: We hired [redacted] Contracting Company to take down an old wall, rebuild a new wall, and waterproof the new wall because it was underground in one part of the building. They also were contracted to frame a new roof and build a 60-mill rubber roof on it. They did rebuild the wall and added a French drain on the outside of the wall. According to our contract, payments for work done would occur as $9000 down initially and another $9000 after the wall and framing were complete but just before the rubber roof was finished. Thus, we paid $18,000 before the 60-mill rubber roof was completed. At this point, Mr. [redacted] suggested we use a torch-down roof a type of roof that is a lot cheaper than a 60-mill rubber roof that we had in the contract in both material and labor costs (I learned this by asking other roofing companies and contractors about the difference in the types of roofs). I informed Mr. [redacted] that a 60-mill rubber roof is a lot more expensive than a torch down and that I had learned the torch down roof was the cheapest type of roof to construct. Several contractors said that it was about 1/3 of the price. Mr. [redacted] told me that the rubber roof was harder to keep from leaking, which made me think that he was not confident about doing the rubber roof. He also demonstrated how the torch roof was going to be put on, so I agreed to go with the easier and cheaper as long as the price was adjusted. We wrote in a new price and changed the material and initialed it on the original contract. A few days after the agreed-upon date to finish the project, he left the job site and removed all of the companys equipment as if the job was done. Two days later, it rained, and the roof leaked in multiple locations. Thus, I called him right away, and he did not respond. Next, I texted him. Finally, I received a return call from his son. They came to our church and inspected their work. But, Mr. [redacted] still tried to insist that it was not leaking at first - even though we showed him where it was leaking. So, we used a water hose to soak the roof to show him. A week later, he patched up the same roof that he previously told me could not be lifted back up and reheated. after he had finish the front part of the roof, it rained a second time, again and I called him once more and text his son photos of the front of the roof that was still leaking, there was no need to tell him about the sides that was leaking because he wasnt done working on the sides. So he and his son came out and they work on the front part of the roof once more and the front of the wall, but this time told me that there was nothing he could do about the water still getting in through the side and bottom parts of the wall were we had built a French drain and water proof that wall and said that basement would not ever get wet, also they cracked our walkway and spilled tar on our driveway and never try to fix it or offer any type of payment, we also have in the contract that if they was longer than the date we agreed upon then we would have the right to deduct 1% of the total amount for each day, but we didnt, also when asked why didnt they attach the roof to the beams or to the poles they said they didnt have the proper tools, we tried several times to come to an agreement with them just so we can more forward but they seem to want to take advantage of us, and we are tired of being taken advantage of and we dont want anyone else to be taken advantage of alsoDesired Settlement: come to a agreement to final payment without signing a new contractAccording to contract we should be getting over more than $6000 back but for right now we are only asking for $1200 difference and we think that is very generous

We were hired by the scam artist a so called Pastor of a church. There was never a price reduction from rubber to the torch down Flintlastic Modified System. The cost difference in material is 720.00, but the labor installing the torch down is more labor intense adding to the expensive. The roofs have the same warranty. At no time did I talk the Pastor into the torch down modified system, he was the one that came to me and said they changed their minds. I wrote the new description on the contract that he had typed and we both initialed it. There was no change of price at this time or anytime. On August 7th I met the Pastor to collect our final payment. At this time he tried to pay me 7000.00, because there is damp corner on the existing concrete floor where the wall we built connects to the old building.. I told him that I have to talk to my partners and left my contract on his desk and went outside to call my sons. When I got back I told him that I couldn't reach them and I would get back to him. When I arrived home my wife ask to see the contact, because it was the first time a customer drew up the contract. She came to the part that had the changes on it and to her surprise there was a price change made and she questioned me about it. I told her that I never put that on there. My wife called the Pastor and told him off about changing the contract with a couple of choice words, since he was to be a so called man of god.

The Pastor called my material supplier to ask them what I paid for the material and when they told him that they could not give him that information he threated to sue them.

We had severe storms the middle of June and the first half of July while working on the job. We put in 15 days of labor in between the rain days. The area was dug out around the existing block wall to the footer with equipment. It started to rain that evening, so we ran down there and tarp the hole to keep it from falling in. We had to hand dig out the cave in. This didn't happen once but three times, before the new wall was erected and drains put in. ? The job was completed within the contract time limit. We removed our equipment and cleaned up the grounds, and were to start our next job the next day.

The roof leaked 3 hours after the job was completed and we were down there within

1/2

hour to see the problem. The storm was so severe that the nearby Beulah Road was shut down, because of flooding.
