Sadaf Fif Ave Restaurant

I am extremely shocked at the customer service we received at Sadaf on 5th Avenue in San Diego last night. The owner at night was extremely disrespectful to my mother and to us women. I am Persian as well and I know men from this culture speak down to women, however I did not expect this to occur at a restaurant. I am a nurse and I serve people as my everyday work. With the kind and compassionate heart I have, I would never imagine someone to speak to my family in such a degrading manner. The owner rudely declined us extra bread which comes as a opening appetizer for free. He then brought us leftover onions that appeared as though they had been peeled apart and used by another table after proclaiming that they did not have onions (which is another side dish with Persian food). After our food arrived which only took about 7 minutes after ordering, we realized it had been microwaved. He placed the food down in a rude manner . When we asked for a check we realized he had not provided us separate rice dishes as it's ordered in the menu, however this did not bother us. When my mother asked to see the menu so that she can confirm the price, he rudely provided her one then shockingly under his breath said, " I knew you were trouble from the moment you came in here." We were all SHOCKED at this behavior. My mother had only asked for a few extra pieces of bread and onions as there were several members in our party and we did not have enough for all. He then shouted loudly causing other customers walking by to look, " Don't you dare return to my store if you don't like my prices." Since I am a regular customer there in the lunch hours when this man is not running the shop, I asked my mother kindly to not say anything as I felt as though this would be in bad taste. We left shocked that anyone could have ever spoken to customers that way. He has done this several times before and there are reviews on google stating that his only concern is money. As I mentioned before, for an individual who works so closely with homeless and drug addicted patients, I would NEVER imagine speaking to my patient, who is my customer in that tone of voice or that manner. I ask that you please investigate my concern as I'm sure I'm not the first female customer he has treated this way. Thank you very much.
