Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: - I emailed the salesperson on September ***, giving him our budget ($10K) and list of items we were looking for - We went to the store on 9/ [redacted] and spent hours looking at pieces in person and on the salesperson's computer (only of the pieces were at the store, the others were online) - WE WERE NOT INFORMED OF PRICES OF INDIVIDUAL PIECESFor the pieces that were not in the store, the salesperson printed out 1-page info on the product (which I still have)The 1-page product sheets do NOT include the pricesI have all of these print-outs as evidence - The salesperson then put a somewhat sloppy, hand-written bill in front of us with the total price of $10,We signed and went on our way - days later, we were informed that the bill was miscalculated and the total was actually $13, - I told the salesperson that is WAY over our budget of $10KI would not have agreed to that on 9/**, and we asked them to cancel the order - They offered us an 8% discount, which would bring the order to $12,312, still $2,over the initial budget I gave them (and over what we had signed at the store) We would like to cancel the order with no restocking feeI understand they have a 72-hour cancellation policy, but the policy should start from when the actual price is given to the customer Sincerely, [redacted] ***

On 09/** after spending several hours with the designer selecting the furniture styles and colors customer placed an order containing of a Rug -$3500 ; Sofa -$3000 ;Sofa- $1980 ; Coffee table-$1400 ;Console table - $1600 ;Lamp- $639 .
Customer was very well aware of each item and the price prior...

to purchase.
The items were clearly written on the invoice with each one having the price in front and customer signed it ( copy of invoice could be provided upon request) .There was a mistake made by the designer calculating the total .Instead of $12119 he wrote $ 9419. There was no mistake made in the price of the item as the customer states
On 09/** I received a phone call from customers husband asking me to cancel order due to them not wanting to wait for the furniture to be made . I looked in to it and told him 5 out of 6 of the items on invoice are custom order and we can not cancel after 72 hours and that it is in production.
Then we realized that a mistake was made in calculation of the total so we offered them 4 options
1. A discount of $1100
2. Canceling or re selecting the rug ( savings of up to $2000- $3500)
3.Canceling the whole order for a restocking fee of 30%
4. 100% store credit
We apologies for the mistake made adding up the total .
Customer was very well aware of each item price ,she approved them one by one during 3 hours spent with the designer as well as signed the invoice with clear prices in front of each item.

- I emailed the salesperson on September [redacted], giving him our budget ($10K) and list of items we were looking for
- We went to the store on 9/** and spent 2 hours looking at pieces in person and on the salesperson's computer (only 2 of the pieces were at the store, the others were online)
- WE WERE NOT INFORMED OF PRICES OF INDIVIDUAL PIECES. For the pieces that were not in the store, the salesperson printed out 1-page info on the product (which I still have). The 1-page product sheets do NOT include the prices. I have all of these print-outs as evidence
- The salesperson then put a somewhat sloppy, hand-written bill in front of us with the total price of $10,472. We signed and went on our way

Review: On 9/**/2014, I purchased several products at Safavieh, with the total coming to 10,472.68.

On 9/**/2014 at 4:39PM, I received the following email from the salesman

[redacted] you are doing well, I've attached the invoice because it was brought to my attention that I did not charge you the correct amount. I must have not added the items correctly.

The total for all pieces with delivery tax is $13412.12

I'm so sorry for my mathematical errors. I have however checked the pieces which we have ordered and they are telling me they do not expect delays I'm keeping on top of it so that we get it sooner than the 12-14 weeks I had quoted you.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

On 9/**/2014 at 6:30PM, I called the store to talk to the [redacted]. I told him that this is more than I had initially agreed to, that it’s more than my budget, and that I wanted to just cancel the order.

He told me I had two options: Pay the $3K difference due to their bad math OR Pay a 30% restocking fee since we are over the 72-hour cancellation period.

I have not received the furniture and it’s unfair to ask me to pay a 30% re-stocking fee, when they are the ones who provided me with the wrong price to begin with.Desired Settlement: I would like to either receive the order at the price for I signed at the store, or get a 100% refund.

Review: I purchased a table that arrived with 4 gashes on the surface of the tabletop. I noted it on the delivery, and then sent a picture of the gashes to my sales rep at Safavieh. I tried to resolve it with Safavieh, and they even sent someone to look at it in my home. They were unresponsive and I had to keep calling & e-mailing them to get a response. They told me that the table is supposed to have the gashes (they call them "distress marks"). I sent them the picture of the table from the manufacturer's web site ([redacted] furniture) and asked them why the picture and description do not show or mention distress marks. I repeatedly asked this question and I have gotten no response. If the gashes are intentional, then why aren't they all over the table? In addition, one is clearly a cut from a utility knife.Desired Settlement: 1) Get a new table (or top) without gashes

2) Get the tabletop repaired

3) Get a reduction in price to live with the damaged table
