Review: I was stranded in snow storm on 2/**/2014- my keys got locked in my vehicle which was running- called locksmith said they would be there in 20 minutes arrived 2 hours later- told me that it would be a 45.00 dollar service fee and 95.00 the kid came to my vehicle told me it would be 201.00 if I did not like it call someone else...I said that was not what you told me on the phone- he said if you have cash it will be cheaper....I did not have cash - the rceipt states Your Personal Locksmith with the phone number of ###-###-####- when I checked my bank statement it came up as Safe and Secure Locksmith Brooklyn NY-Desired Settlement: I feel they over charged me due to the circumstances - they charged whatever they felt I was alone in a snow storm - I did not know what else to do so I paid the $201.00

Review: On Sept **, 2014, I called a company that goes by the name of [redacted] at [redacted] to unlock the trunk of my car. I was originally quoted an amount of $250.00.I was told by the technician who performed the service that he could not accept checks, but he could process the transaction on my debit card. He said the receipt would be emailed to me. When I received the invoice via an email from [redacted], it was for $341.00!I called [redacted] and spoke with the same man who gave me the quote of $250.00. He refused to give me his name and kept asking Who are you looking for? I explained I was calling to discuss the charge of $341.00. This man told me there was nothing he could do about it at that time, that he would call me in the morning.On the morning of Oct *, 2014, I called again, after receiving no follow up call. I spoke again with the same man who, after much questioning told me his name was [redacted] told me that there was nothing he could do about the charge, that I would have to discuss it with the technician who performed the service. I asked for the technicians number. [redacted] refused to give it to me and said that he would have the technician, who he said was named [redacted], give me a call.I proceeded to contact my bank to dispute the pending charge of $341.00 on my account.I heard nothing from the technician but later on Oct *, received a call from [redacted] who was asking me why I wasnt going to pay him. I told him he wasnt getting paid because he lied to me and told me the charge would be $250.00 not $341.00. [redacted] then denied that the quote was originally $250.00, and claimed it was $295.00. [redacted] then said that if I paid him the amount of $270.00 he would drop the charge of $341.00. I told him to send me an invoice in the amount of $250.00 and that I would continue to dispute the charge of $341.00. Revdex.com was contacted to find out further info regarding this company. I was informed it is also known as Safe and Secure Locksmith.Desired Settlement: To have the charge of $341.00 dropped and have an invoice for the originally quoted amount of $250.00 sent to me. The company will be paid by check for the amount of $250.00
