Tell us why here... [redacted] did bring his 2006 [redacted] Dakota truck to us for transmission repairs which were completed on 10/30/2015. The transmission was completely rebuilt. He did return on 11/20/2015, 12/9/2015, 2/26/2016 and lastly 3/07/2016. His complaint was related to a...
“chatter” felt when the transmission shifted from 1st to 2nd gear. There were no transmission codes stored in the vehicle’s computer memory. In November 2015, the transmission solenoid body was replaced. In December 2015, the transmission was removed and completely gone through. In February 2016, the transmission valve body was replaced. This last visit resulted in us taking the vehicle to a [redacted] dealership in order to have them check the transmission operation and to check if a “reflash” of the control unit was required. The [redacted] dealership could find no control codes and could not duplicate the complaint. We rechecked all external components and repeatedly road-tested the vehicle. The vehicle was shifting properly and was returned to Mr. [redacted] on 3/10/2016. We have been and will continue to be in contact with Mr. [redacted] to assure that his vehicle is operating properly.
