Ms [redacted] came to us for help with a privately owned student loan owed to [redacted] Ms [redacted] was hoping to go back to school but unable due to this private student loan owedSafe Harbor Associates was retained to provide a resolution that was manageable for our client and allowed her to eventually get back in schoolOn November 15, Ms [redacted] advised she would be able to afford a payment of $per month and if it were acceptable she would put her tax refund money toward the remaining debt owedThis would allow Ms [redacted] to satisfy the student loan owed and allow her to receive the transcript she needs to attend school againAfter negotiating the payment arrangements with [redacted] , we obtained a resolution even more affordable than the client had requestedThis arrangement was for $per month then Ms [redacted] would be able to pay the remaining balance owed to the student loan with her tax refundThis account was resolved in a very timely manner ending in exceptional resolutionAll of which was agreed upon by the client as we have recordings for all conversations

After account review, we have determined that at the time a refund was issued in the amount of $17.81 of a total payment of $71.25. We will be refunding the disputed amount of $53.44 bringing the total refund to the amount paid - $71.25. We apologize for the error.

I am rejecting this response because: I received a message through the Revdex.com on the 13th of December that said my refund had been mailed out then... now you guys are saying it was mailed out on the 26th. Someone is lying. Go back and read the previous response you sent on the 13th. I think you guys are just saying that to hush me and not planning on sending a refund.

On November 15, 2017 Ms. [redacted] advised she would be able to afford a payment of $50.00 per month and if it were acceptable she would put her tax refund money toward the remaining debt owed. This would allow Ms. [redacted] to satisfy the student loan owed and allow her to receive the transcript she needs to attend school again. After negotiating the payment arrangements with [redacted], we obtained a resolution even more affordable than the client had requested. This arrangement was for $25.00 per month then Ms. [redacted] would be able to pay the remaining balance owed to the student loan with her tax refund. This account was resolved in a very timely manner ending in exceptional resolution. All of which was agreed upon by the client as we have recordings for all conversations.

I am rejecting this response because:
Somewhere during the many conversations there was a miscommunication. I was under the impression that I would receive my transcripts and THEN be able to make payments because I was told that this was the way private loans work. One of the phone recordings will have that conversation in it. I did not need a negotiation unless it would allow for me to get my transcripts immediately. I could have done the same work they did without paying for it.
