Nobody answers, nobody will reply to your requests to discuss your account, I don't think they actually have staff other than sales staff. I read that they are in financial trouble and maybe that explains it? Chat took 20 min for them to answer, and even then they were not able to help at all, they don't reply via email, and the only thing they want to talk about is sales and more money! Beware... they are horrible! You will regret ever talking to them!

I would NOT recommend Safe Home Security to even my worst enemy! They are sleazy salespeople who strong arm elderly clients into a contract Then when the person is deceased, they put the squeeze on their family members and tell them they have to honor the contract although the person they had the contract with has passed away I think this is horrible business Then they say you can cancel with a written letter, death certificate and wait another days to stop the contract What a RIP-OFF!

In August 2013, our monitoring system became damaged and we called for customer service to make a repair at our expense Safe Home Security could not recommend or send anyone to our home as they were not able to service our home After days, we wrote to them to cancel our monitoring service due to their inability to fix our problem We then called another monitoring company and had their tech person make the repair and then signed up for their monitoring program Since that time, we have written letters, had our attorney write a letter documenting the issues we had with Safe Home We are continuing to receive billing statements and collection calls from SHS, as they will not accept being cancelled for any cause We sent a check for $500, marked payment in full, which they cashed, but did not accept as Pmt in Full They are reporting us to the credit bureau The collection calls just keep coming

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The information provided from Jerry at safe home security is not completely accurateAs I mentioned in the original complaint I spoke with many reps from July-Aug when we sold the home regarding the contract not being the correct contract termNobody was able to provide me with any info or a contract copyThe last rep I spoke to, Katie I believe, referred me to JerryI left a voice mail for himThe next week I didn't hear back so I called the company again and finally reached himThis was August 8th I believeFrom there Jerry and I discussed the contract in depth and the term buy out pricingHe is the ONLY ONE I discussed contract pricing withHe told me verbally the first price, on a sticky note attached to the contract he sent me for a second price, and the third price in emailI have the documentation to prove the price differencesWhen questioned the difference between prices he pretty much ignored it and never gave me an accurate price when requested Please see attachment of "original" contract and sticky note with pricing and email with pricing As far as the contract signature he quickly disregarded my concern for a fraudulent signatureHe did provide me with the signature from another form that I signed for install around the same time as the contractHowever, the signatures are not the sameThere are many differences between them and that is not how I have ever signedI even pointed out the differences in an email and he never replied back It's not right that a company who should strive for a good reputation disregarded a clearly fraudulent signature However, from what I have read on their reviews that's definitely not surprisingPlease see the attached email with the information requested and explaining the differences between my signature and the one on fileAs far as the double billing for the same security system, that's horrible business practice and should be illegal for a company to rip of customers like that Safe home security is currently billing the new owners of the home and fraudulently extended our contract term, therefore we are asking for our contract to be terminated and the termination fees waived Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me--presuming they follow through as indicated in the e-mail Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because my garage was not hooked up as agreed causing a burglary loss of a $battery The contract lacks consideration as monitoring ceased in March and they failed to contact me to see if there was a technical problem Furthermore the equipment was removed in March as well The contract is vague and because they are the drafters they are responsible for the confusion They have not fulfilled their obligations by failing to hook up the garage sensor causing a loss When I contacted them on the phone they were belligerent and threatening Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The customer's account has been credited months of service and we also we waived the cost of the batteryThe client had a low back up batteryThat particular battery is only used if the power to the panel goes outThe customer was not affected while this battery reported low Their system was 100% operationalIn an effort to appease the customer, we waived the cost of the batteryWe dispatched a repair technician to change the battery for customerWe then issued months of credit because the customer was upset that a battery was low We gave the customer $in credit because they had a low batteryUnfortunately batteries go low, and as much as we would like to be able to control the lifespan of a battery, we have no control over themI am not sure how this indicated to the customer that anything was a scamCurrently, the customer only owes one month of their quarterly paymentIf they would like, they can call into our billing department to request an updated invoice We will not be canceling the customer's account because they had a low battery

I have had a great experience with this companyThey gave me a quote over the phone (and stuck to that price), and installed it within the weekWe have had it for months nowWe've set it off accidentally twice (once while letting the dog out before turning off the alarm, right when we first got the system) and once when putting the crockpot away and it clinked loudly and set off the glass breakage alarm, and they called immediately for the password and checked to make sure that everything was alrightI have had no complaints about their service at all

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I I would like no type of contact from the company after my contract is cancelled Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First, thank you for signs of working with me- In 2009, mom and I signed up for systems (my house at [redacted] and her house [redacted] Due to her declining health, I built onto my home and moved her in While her house remained a "dream" of her returning to it and becoming independent again, we were required to keep her system in tact Eighteen (18) months later we sold, provided SHS with the HUD Closing statement, and now only have the one system at Shonele- however, we don't ever use it because it is too confusing/complicated for her, and for our in-home healthcare providersAs indicated in the initial complaint, I will consider it all "good" if you could in any way consider the balance on my account "paid in full" and release me from the remaining months of my "month" signed contract which was signed after pressured sales by "George" who badgered her until she relented and signed it I pay a year in advance- the balance goes into 2017- I will withdraw all complaints to just be forgiven a few months of obligation with the company Sincerely, [redacted]

I was shocked at the shady practices of Safe Home Security Their customer service representatives lie and do not disclose the accurate way to cancel a contract in order to be able to "auto renew" your account for an additional year I even paid them for additional months to give them their day notice per what the customer representative stated was policy just to have them still auto renew my accountI refuse to give them another pennyFrom what I read this is a common practice for them which boggles my mind how they can continuously get away with it

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I contacted Safe Home two weeks prior to the date their notes indicateThose options provided aren't geared towards taking care of me as a customerI've been paying for monitoring months without a home being monitored$x months is for basically nothingCancel my contract, I no longer want to do business with a company this shady Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Your response is unacceptable I should not be charged to have my alarm system unlocked, and once again your firm will be the target of legal actionI am filing complaints with the state and federal attorneys and looking to see if a class action suite is also a possibility as this is criminal behaviorPerhaps a class action suite will expose the dirty tricks played by some alarm companiesThe money is not the main issue here the principal is more important but I do expect to collect damagesI am also contacting the local news media to have their on air attorney explore this issue and make sure others do not patronize companies with no integrity Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I originally subscribed to [redacted] Alarms Service in [redacted] ***! [redacted] was the company who monitored this system [redacted] sold my account off to SHSWhen I had to service my alarm system; after signing the service tag from the technician, it turns out that it was nothing but an additional three year contractNot a service receipt or tag! Now I have vacated said premisresidents or electricity into the propertySHS won't stop service as I requested! They're telling me my contract doesn't expire till April 2016! This company is scamming consumers into these [redacted] contracts under the guise of service contracts presented by theses techniciansPlease pull their license and drag them into court!

To Whom It May Concern, We ask [redacted] to disregard any bills that he has received from Safe Home SecurityAn automated bill and letter were sent in the mail during the cancellation processI can confirm the account has been closed, and no further obligation is required on [redacted] behalf We apologize for any confusion this may have caused Sincerely, Colin W [redacted] Corporate Account Manager

October 17, Response to Revdex.com complaint # [redacted] Account # [redacted] Client [redacted] Clients account has been canceled and this client owes no moniesThis account is fully canceled per the clients request, client has for filled the obligation of agreementInstalled on 08/03/for months Expiration Date 08/03/ Client owes no money and has a zero balance We have honored the clients request to cancel this agreement Always Jerry R [redacted] Safe Home Security Resolution’s Senior Manger

Worst home security monitoring company, to dateCustomer service reps are unprofessional, rude and lack ethicsI've tried to cancel my agreement as we sold our home and moved which means they no longer provide a monitoring service to the propertyThey told me to submit escrow paperwork to terminate the contract and I wouldn't be responsible for the remaining balanceOnce I submitted the legal docs, they back pedaled on their word and charged me the balanceEach rep is inconsistent with each other and worse than the lastThis company is a group of crooks, liars and cheatsStay away unless you want to be scammed by them...and lastly, their wireless units they install inside the home is a huge, dinosaur device that looks like they are from the 80'sIn this day and age, you would think their device would be an updated sleek & small design but they are on the contraryBasically, going back in time with their engineering, instead of being a progressive company with their technology

To Whom It May Concern, We have explained our stance on this matter several timesAny further correspondence is only being redundant Sincerely, [redacted] Corporate Account Manager Safe Home Security

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Please note that the reason I didn't agree to pay the fee is due to the fact that the service technician stated that if I was under contract, I should never have to pay any service fees or equipment costs The battery still needs replacing and should be free of charge with NO contract extension After reviewing Safe Home Security's file with the Revdex.com, it appears their practice of charging customers even while under contract is commonplaceSHS should ensure our monthly bill does not go up or I will file another complaint Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted] If Safe Home Security would have kept their promise to come out and test my system; I would not have gone with another company I waited over two months for them to test my system; I call numerous times; I got the same reply each time; we will send out a rep but they did not
