As a company were are truly sorry this has happened to *** First and foremostThe service was not cancelled due to us being busy with another jobWe have hour surveillance cameras showing this limousine never left our office once the chauffeur discovered the issue and returned the
vehicleAs our chauffeur *** *** was leaving our business to report for his scheduled 2pm pick upThe Cadillac Escalade stretched suv malfunctioned (Drive belt)*** alerted the client of the situationHe was then he was told by the client to never mind just to cancelWe then received a call at 4:asking where was their vehicle? No vehicle was sent do the prior communication of cancellation. Normally, if this were to occurWe would promptly send out another vehicleHowever, due to the level of business on this particular dayWe were unable to do so. However, today is the first business day since the incident has happenedThe clients have not allowed any time for the situation to be handled promptly and amicablyThey immediately took to social media posting negative threadsWith mostly inaccurate information and accusations. Since the owner and myself learned of the situation, anything other than a full refund was never even consideredThe clients just haven't given us ample time being today is the first business day back in the office.The client paid a total of $for hours of service As of 7-19-we had refunded back the most recent payment of $459.25. As for the initial deposit of $300.00? We attempted to process the refundOur system would not allow it to be processedSince today was the first business day, we sent a check by certified mail in the amount of $Certified mail confirmation #***-***-***-***This would be a total refund of $Completed by the first day of business after the incident.As unfortunate as this situation was It was never our intention to not provide the service or to inconvenience *** in any wayLimousines are no different than any other vehicleThey malfunction from time to timeRegardless of the upkeep and maintenanceUnfortunately, it's never at an opportune timeEspecially in this case as it was the busiest day of the year.We generally serve client jobs per yearWith an average of of them being weddingsYou don't earn that level of business by not doing the things in the correct mannerHowever, sometimes things beyond our control do happenI only wish this client would have given the proper time for us to handle this in a professional manner Truth be told, had the client not negatively and in-accurately attacked our company on social mediaIn addition to the 100% refund that was givenI likely would have given them free service towards another date of their choosing Just for the inconvenienceSimply just to show, this particular incident is not who we are as a company or how we operateHowever, i'm guessing this would not have mattered. I'm sure our owner ** will be reaching out to the client todayPlease note, though I had requested today off of workI've been working to solve this matter from home on my day off.I hope you find this acceptable.Thank you for your time,*** ***
